Anupama Solanki Bids Adieu to ‘Nath: Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani’ for New Artistic Ventures

Anupama Solanki, recognized for her portrayal of the antagonist, Kalavati, in the series ‘Nath: Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani,’ has made the decision to depart from the show, ten months after her involvement. Her exit is slated for the end of January, marking the culmination of her journey in the series.

The decision to bid farewell stems from Anupama’s sentiments regarding an abrupt decrease in shooting schedules and screen time. She articulates, “I’ve chosen to step away from the show due to the unexpected reduction in filming days and my character’s diminishing prominence. I feel there’s not much left for me to explore within the narrative. It’s a mutual decision with the production house. Making this choice wasn’t simple, but I depart carrying only positive memories.”

Having previously appeared in the sitcom ‘Maddam Sir,’ Anupama Solanki is now actively seeking diverse and engaging roles. She asserts, “I refuse to be confined by anticipated roles or stereotyping. My aspiration is to embody various characters that contribute to my growth as an artist and shape a versatile portfolio. I firmly believe that with dedicated effort and complete immersion into any assigned character, I can break away from any predefined image. This has been my guiding philosophy throughout my career, whether embodying positive or negative personas. I am not restricting myself to television and remain open to exploring other creative platforms. In the current landscape, actors have a myriad of avenues to exhibit their versatility. The primary challenge lies in securing quality work.”

Her role in the show encompassed a blend of negativity and comedy. Prior to joining ‘Nath: Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani,’ Anupama, a part of series such as ‘Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei,’ ‘Daayan,’ ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,’ and ‘Vighnaharta Ganesha,’ discussed her approach, stating, “Portraying comedy while embodying a negative character is a formidable task. Thus, this role presents a significant challenge for me, which is precisely why I accepted it. I don’t rush from one project to another merely for the sake of it. Even if it takes a year to secure a commendable role, I am willing to wait.”

Anupama Solanki’s departure from ‘Nath: Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani’ signifies her pursuit of diverse roles and artistic endeavors, displaying her commitment to meaningful and varied characters within the entertainment industry.
