Maaya cries recalling Anupama and Barkha’s bitter words. Anupama walks to her and says a wife will never forgive her and she knows the reason well; a wife can be stone hearted, but a mother can’t be stone hearted as her heart melts for her children. She gives Maaya a permission to stay at Kapadia Mansion for a day. Maaya thanks her. Anupama warns her not to make any mistake again. Maaya promises she will not do any mistake, either ways she never wants to interfere between her and Anuj. Anupama warns her not to break her promise. Maaya says tomorrow will be memorable event for Anupama looks at the watch at 12 midnight and notices Anuj sound asleep. She wishes happy birthday to herself and thanks everyone are tired and asleep. She prays god for a peaceful year ahead.
Anuj wakes up feeling suffocated and says he can’t breathe. Anupama gets afaid and asks what is happening to him. Anuj asks her to take him to terrace. She does and asks if he is fine now. Anuj says he will now and orders to switch on lights. Anupama stands speechless. Anuj says he had planned a surprise for her and waiting eagerly. She starts crying. He gets nervous and requests her to stop crying. She starts laughing and says he is not the only actr at Kapadia Mansion. Anuj recites a shayari and wishes her a happy birthday. Vanraj looks at watch and wishes happy birthday. Kavya taunts her that he should stand there, cut the cake and light candles, sing happy birthday, and do whatever he wants to. Anuj tells Anupama that they shouldn’t want for happiness to come as problems repeatedly come and go like luggage on a airport’s conveyer belt. He says he knows her happiness is incomplete without Little Anu, he would have got jealous if it was someone else than Little Anu, ke nows its difficult for her also to stay without Little Anu. He talks romantically making her feel shy and expresses his love for her.
Maaya peeps into Anuj and Anupama’s room and not finding them there thinks she must have gone out. She looks at their family picture and thinks she will give such a special gift to Anupama that she will never forget her whole life. Anuj tells Anupama that a special girl’s birthday should be celebrated in a special way. Anupama asks what more beautiful can it be. Anuj makes her sit on a bench and looks at her. Mera Yeh Isha.. song plays in the background. Anuj shows her a star and sayys he bought it for her and named Anupama. Anupama asks is it possible. Anuj says it is and recites a poem for her. She feels overwhelmed and says it should be named Maan, he should buy some more for Little Anu as future investment. He says she is speaking like a gujrati. He then gives her a gift box. She opens it nervously asks if its for her. He says yes. She walks away shyingly.
Maaya walks to Little Anu’s room and finds her sleeping holding happy birthday mummy drawing. She thinks even she should start preparations now. Anupama returns wearing a beautiful white dress. Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai.. song plays in the background. Anuj mesmerized with her beauty recites a shayari and then signs a song Aisi Ulchi Nazar Unse Hat Ti Nahi..Dil To Baccha Hai Ji.. They both dance romantically, cut cake, and spend quality time together.
Precap: Maaya gets anxious when Anuj and Anupama celebrate Anupama’s birthday at an orphage and then picnic at a beach. Later, Maaya informs them that she couldn’t get an evening flight and hence is leaving in the morning. Anupama asks if Maaya will go alone or with Little Anu.

Maaya track looks like it’s going to last a while
As much as I hate to agree, seeing Anuj in current track.. I strongly believe Vanraj is way better parent in this situation 😂😂.. because even after being from lower middle class family… had gone means to get his child custody, even if the child was samar… who shows typically Asian love.. chapel, belan, chimpta, not understanding young love, believing studies is everything, ignoring child’s agony/depression, never apologising are few traits of every typical Asian parents… but he’s always been a shield to his kid.. unlike this anuj-anupamaa who just be nibba-nibbi, all day, don’t even realise, how barkha manipulated pakhi, how maaya is trying to anupamaa’s place in Kapadia mansion, how paritosh is misusing anuj’s name, what’s happening between dimple and pakhi…

I don’t agree, Vanraj care about himself and nobody else, good father could never be Vanraj. Vanraj stood silently when Pakhi insulted Anupama, he never said anything when Toshu called Anupama characterless he joined in making fun in making fun of Samar because he loves his mother more than his dad and he was called loser for that. Vanraj hasn’t been a good man husband or father. He supports Toshu and Pakhi in humiliating Anupama and stands like a mute spectacular what kind of values are those in fact what father stand their while his daughter calls her mother a home wrecker. When ever Pakhi or Toshu start arguing with Vanraj, Anupama stand up and asked them to say their point in a politer man but when Anupama being insulted everyone is a mute spectator. I dont understand what you mean wit custody because Vanraj and Anupama never had a custody battle, Anupama said the kids will stay at Shah besides Pakhi was about 16 when this happened why would fight for custody which will be end in 2 years. As for Pakhi she wasn’t manipulated by Barka she was in love with wealth and being connected to a wealthy family, Pakhi only ever wanted wealth.
Yes, but that would make him a characterless man, husband, MCP, misogynistic, not a careless dad like Anuj is being in past few tracks..

Kavya-Anirudh, Kavya being exactly how she is,except not a betrayer and an adultress but a loving fashionable wife to Anirudh who is part of a girl group friend circle of Anu and works with Vanraj in thesame company but NEVER sees him as anything more than her friend’s husband and good friend
