Anupama 5th May 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Rahi confronts Vasundhara for bailing Raghav out of jail, but Vasundhara explains she did it to give him a second chance and praises the Kotharis for their generosity. Parag defends Raghav, saying he has already paid for his past, but Rahi remains opposed to him. Meanwhile, Gautam stirs trouble by revealing that Anupama has hired Raghav, prompting Vasundhara to question Anupama’s judgment and her relationship with Raghav. Rahi defends her mother, asking everyone to stop targeting Anupama, while Parag urges them to ignore both Anupama and Raghav.
Anupama discusses Raghav’s future plans with him, and he shares his intention to use his MBA to help grow Anu Ki Rasoi. Paritosh also thanks Raghav for withdrawing the case and agrees to collaborate with him on the business. Anupama encourages them to plan together. Later, Karthik invites Anupama to choreograph an event, which she accepts before attending a baby shower at Ratna’s house.
Rahi becomes upset with Anupama for working with Raghav and vents her frustration. She tells Prem she can’t handle people speaking ill of her mother and asks him to stop visiting Anu Ki Rasoi. Meanwhile, Mahi returns home in high spirits, raising suspicion from Leela and Pakhi, who worry she’s trying to attract Aryan and potentially threaten Ishani’s place. They decide to attend the baby shower to keep an eye on things.
At the baby shower, Anupama faces scrutiny from Ratna’s relatives about her presence and her closeness to Raghav, who assists her with catering. Later, Kinjal is falsely accused of stealing a necklace, but Anupama and Raghav prove her innocence. Anupama demands an apology, and the women relent. Raghav praises Anupama’s integrity and strength.
Anupama defends Kinjal, explaining the family’s financial struggles and expressing her pride in her daughter-in-law. Raghav is impressed by Anupama’s resilience and character. Meanwhile, Mahi fantasizes about marrying Aryan and gaining Vasundhara’s favor, but Pari becomes suspicious. Mahi reveals Aryan has proposed, leaving Pari worried for Rahi and Prem.
Leela lashes out at Ratna for accusing Kinjal, but Raghav redirects the focus by inviting Paritosh and Kinjal to see a business presentation. Leela is stunned to witness the growing partnership between Anupama and Raghav.
Precap: Vasundhara mocks Anupama and Raghav upon seeing them together, then demands that Anupama keep Mahi away from Aryan. Anupama firmly tells her not to meddle in the children’s lives. Raghav snaps back, saying Vasundhara will never understand. When she warns him to lower his voice, he retorts sharply, “I haven’t even begun to raise it yet.”

Very complicated story to many things are happening at the same time makers should resolve the problems step by step anupama atleast is a serial with half negativity and half positivity but still it is a more human serial compared to rhe others by the same makers
Who is Rahi n on what ground she is to judge Raghav when she herself is not reflecting on how double standard she is!!
In fact, Rahi’s standard has always been: If you are the outsider I consider to be the one who will hurt me, then I will ignore everything about you.
Just like when she was in the United States, she didn’t want Anupama and Anuj to meet. She grabbed Anuj’s hand and was about to leave the event venue. Then she accidentally bumped into Anupama, almost causing her to fall into the fire. Anuj quickly released his hand to save Anupama, but Rahi’s first reaction was not to be afraid of almost causing trouble, but to be angry with Anuj, thinking that Anuj had actually let go of her hand for Anupama, an outsider?
Rahi felt that Raghav had almost killed her (whether intentionally or unintentionally), and she was panicked by Raghav wandering around her. However, her mother, Anupama, failed to understand or consider her feeling. She believed that Anupama only cared about helping outsider,so she vented her hatred for Raghav on Anupama.
Thank you for ur explanation @Mila
When her own daughter and grand daughters are there why Rahi always takes the upper hand. Its too odd. After all what right has she, who always had gone from one place to another alone. I am sure Rhagav will be interested in oldie Anupama, the way Anu moves with him v closely. Nizaus
so…Raghav (supporter, a friend like Devika ,Anupama’s business partner) +Prem (supporter, repairing the mother-daughter relationship) =Anuj?
If the promo is true, then all the current dramas might be aimed at forcing Anupama to leave (missing) :Baa will doubt and question Anupama’s character just as she questioned the relationship between Anupama and Anuj in the past. Anupama might have known that Mahi’s intention behind accepting the proposal was insincere. Rahi’s repeated misunderstandings and accusations.

I have not listened to the full discussion, but I must say You, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, PM Modi, Yogi Adityanath, the RSS, and their peers all have failed us. Our politicians have become utterly shameless.
Not one of them has truly declared: “We stand for unity. We will empower everyone, together.”
It’s ironic, Hindus form the majority, yet are always portrayed as being in danger.
SCs, STs, and OBCs also form a majority, yet are constantly described as exploited.
If a country’s majority is always either in danger or exploited, then who’s responsible? The answer is ignorant people and dirty politics.
Its hilarious that in India majority demands reservation/security.
Political opportunists indulging in cheap tactics is expected, but you, as a professor, should know better. How can you justify appointing an OBC candidate who scores 1/100 over a general category student who scored 80/100?
No other country practices such blatant reservation politics. Global systems ensure inclusivity through merit.
Barack Obama didn’t become the U.S. President due to reservation, but because of merit and ability.
So why aren’t we focusing on education, skills, and empowerment? Do you believe OBCs, SCs, STs, minorities, or women cannot develop talent just because they weren’t born into privilege?
Then how did Phule, Periyar, Ambedkar, Ratan Tata, APJ Abdul Kalam, or Kalpana Chawla succeed?
In the private sector, especially in IT, there’s no mandatory reservation, yet people of all castes, religions, and genders are thriving. Inclusivity exists based on ability, not quota.
So, what stops anyone, except those who are specially abled, from acquiring physical and mental knowledge, skills, and discipline?
Why are we turning into Balkanized groups, each fighting to snatch from the other, instead of pursuing unity and equality? Punish whoever discriminates.
India is a vast nation with immense diversity. Instead of counting our differences, we must strive to find unity and ensure equality for all.
If we fail to do this, our constitution-based nation-state risks fragmenting into factions.
Anyone who divides citizens on the basis of identity is BETRAYING the nation.
Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States not through reservation or affirmative action in elections, but through merit, capability, and electoral support.
Key Points:
The U.S. political system does not have any caste, race, or gender-based reservation/quota for becoming President.
Obama won statewide elections (Senator) and nationwide democratic primaries based on votes and political competence.
His credentials include:
Harvard Law School (President of the Harvard Law Review — on merit).
Community organizer, law professor, state senator, U.S. senator before presidency.
While affirmative action exists in the U.S. (e.g., in college admissions), it does not extend to electoral positions like President.
His campaigns were praised for intellectual clarity, inclusive vision, policy plans, and public speaking — all evidence of ability and leadership, not any reserved privilege.
🟦 Conclusion:
Barack Obama became President through popular vote, democratic process, and recognized leadership qualities — not through any reservation system. His success is widely seen as a case of merit-based achievement in a competitive democracy.
————————–
Obama becoming U.S. President shows how merit, leadership, and public confidence can empower even marginalized groups without reservation.
In contrast, India’s reservation system, though originally intended for social justice, often overrides merit, encourages identity-driven politics, and contributes to administrative inefficiency.
Worse, by prioritizing caste over capability, it risks keeps the public uninformed and dependent, rather than empowered and educated.
Doesn’t Prem work with Anupama in the catering business. Who is Rahi to tell prem to stop going there.

Below comment is interesting:
But Its ok, when Indian subcontinent itself is divided like the Balkans, how can we expect their representatives to be united or honest? Lets fail Mr Ambedkar together.
