Anupama 28th August 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Leela asks Anupama if she is missing something, to which Anupama replies that Leela is listening to her own heart. Leela questions why Anupama cannot stay back instead of returning to Mumbai to live among strangers, reminding her that the entire family wants her to remain with them. Anupama is left shocked. Later, as four generations pray together, Anupama blesses Kinjal and Prarthana. Leela asks Prarthana to prepare something for the kitchen ritual but not to keep the fast, while Anupama advises her to rest. Leela then asks Anupama to visit the temple since it is both Anuj’s birthday and Janmashtami. Anupama takes the moment to confess her love for Anuj.
At the Kothari house, the family prays and Vasundhara decides to celebrate Janmashtami. When Parag mentions that it was because of Prarthana he went to meet the Shahs, Vasundhara accuses him of ignoring other relationships for her sake. Anil intervenes, asking them not to quarrel during the festival. Meanwhile, Anupama resolves to celebrate Anuj’s birthday. She bumps into Rahi, who taunts her, questioning whether she is trying to prove her love for Anuj and accusing her of only loving herself. Anupama clarifies that Anuj had wanted them to celebrate his birthday together, which is why they are there at the same time. Rahi, irritated, reminds her that after Anupama left, they celebrated Anuj’s birthday alone, and further taunts her about not being able to become a mother while challenging her to the dance competition. Anupama gives a sharp reply, and Rahi vows to win to break her ego. Prem tries to calm Rahi, but she insists on celebrating first, asking Prem to tell Anupama to wait. Anupama agrees to wait, later telling Anuj that though Rahi is rude, she has grown used to her attitude.
Back at the Shahs, Jignesh surprises everyone dressed as Lord Krishna. Anupama searches for the dancers, and Sarita expresses excitement to witness a Gujarati Janmashtami for the first time. Leela explains that in Gujarat, prayers to Baal Gopal are followed by Garba. Rahi and Prem then perform as Radha and Krishna, while both the Shahs and Kotharis jointly celebrate Janmashtami. Despite the festivities, both Anupama and Rahi find themselves missing Anuj deeply.
Precap: Anupama thinks of Anuj and is startled when she imagines his presence around her.

Rahi performs as Radha? isn’t it an insult to Radha? Rahi is such an ungrateful, rude, disrespecful brat!
Exactly! Where in Rahi shows Divine Love? She hates anyone who is better than her, she just cannot stand Anupama who is the woman who gave her the life she wanted instead of staying in Orphanage, without Anupama where she can be where she is now, yet she keeps insulting Anupama!! Please don’t insult Radha! Rahi is not even worthy to be Radha’s finger!!
Agree -Rahi is not only an ungrateful, rude, disrespectful brat! – she is arrogant & thinks she is better than everyone
She should remember that Anupama left because of her insisting that she saved Pari instead of her
And Anuj is to blame as well – spoiling her instead of teaching her manners & to be grateful
Both Rahi & Khayti should have their heads examined
Right!
One thing I just don’t get it, why pray when your heart is evil? Instead of praying for peace n love, yoir heart is full of greed and resentment? Vasandhara is out to get rid of poor son in law Raghav, condoned Gautam rich grand son in law that abused her grand daughter? Looked down upon poor people and insults them, will God answers her prayers, will God bless such people like Gautam, Khyati, Rahi, Mahi, Pakhi n Toshi!!
Exactly @Enam. This is religious hypocrisy in extreme. Vasundhara pretends to be devout, but look at her actions and words. She is pure evil. That is why an over reliance and adherence on religious rites is so disgusting, when not coming from the heart.
True! @Jin
Peak–End Rule. When a conceited person lets go of his arrogance once, people call him great. When a person has done both good and wrong things, her previous kindness is called disguise and she is criticized as “only knowing how to hurt others”.
Producers and writers seem to have been justifying the actions of Shah, Rahi, Mahi and Kothari all along. For them, the most important thing is to create more conflicts and dramas, even if there is no logic. Seeking justice and pursuing dreams are not important at all, so writers create some strange things. For instance, in the morning they might celebrate Happy Mother’s Day together, at noon they might accuse Anupama of never being able to become a mother, in the afternoon they would ask Anupama why she didn’t die of shame, and then the next morning they would dance together to celebrate the festival, saying that fighting is “normal” and every family has these “misunderstandings”…
The writers’ minds are very conflicted. On the one hand, they emphasize that people without blood ties can care for and love each other. On the other hand, they call Dance Rani, who show respect to Anupama, “strangers”. Sometimes, this friendship with “strangers” is more precious than the so-called “family”.
So true! @Mila it’s the writer’s twisted logics, they know not what they are scripting – just nonsense!!
Anyone notice that Pakhi’s daughter Ishani has been missing.
Maybe, she’s realised that her mother is only after one thing
Yes, as I don’t understand hindi, I don’t know whether they did mentioned why she is missing?
Hi I’m romans how can I make money now
Can’t think of any further story? Wasted half of today’s episode!
More than 60 percent of the show is taken up with dream sequences of Anuj and Anupama. What a fool she is to keep on begging for Rahi to talk to her. This is not motherly love – it’s a pathetic clinging to the past as Rahi is part of her fantasy with Anuj. Show some self respect Anupama for yourself.
Exactly!@Jin Just can’t understnd Anupama why clings to this extremely rude thankless brat, Rahi may be part of her fantasy wit Anuj but she was also the cause of their separation! Moreover she is so unreasonably rude no one can stand but Anupama that has no self respect for herself!!

How romantic fusions appear!
Happy Birthday MJ.
You, like everyone, had your share of strengths/weaknesses/insecurities, joys/sorrows, successes /failures yet you rose above all and became the true GOAT.
Let the narcissists keep fighting for supremacy by causing mental or physical harm. we will continue to resist it by spreading peace and love.
Some people can’t really give/receive respect & love. Its their loss.

When you danced for Bappa, I/heart immediately followed you. Watched all your videos and shared them.
You gave respect and own ours.
Not sure why people fail to understand this simple logic.

Those who seek dominance through power, manipulation, or destruction will ultimately receive the same in return. There is no other outcome.

Eh you look hot even in female dance steps, How?
When I first entered the corporate world, I was told that leadership fails if it cannot resolve conflicts, provide solutions, think ahead, or innovate, then it must step down.
Looking at global affairs today, I wonder, what kind of leadership do we truly have, that the world remains constantly at war?
Some nations face existential threats, some seek endless expansion, others try to dominate through influence, and some still harbor colonial mindsets. At the root of it all lies ego, jealousy, anger, greed and hatred.
Yet, I believe the future is different. If not today, then tomorrow, humanity will evolve into true global citizenship.
We will eventually move beyond tribal rivalries and national egos. In such a world, nations will no longer obstruct each other’s progress but will instead collaborate as Team Earth, working for the planet’s collective good.
Within countries, law enforcement exists to maintain order, but what about disputes between countries? What is the true role of the United Nations here?
Sanctions rarely solve problems. It punishes only citizens.
The real issue lies in problematic leaders driven by fear, jealousy, ego, anger, greed, and hatred.
Such leadership, must be held accountable and replaced.
Perhaps the answer is to give the UN more representation and power, so it can act decisively and fairly for all.

Finished watching my unicorn girl, imagined world as team, sometimes failing together to win.
Darren chen’s handsomeness is earth shattering!
The show reminded me that parents must guide and question children, while children must show sincerity in return.
I also learned about prosopagnosia (face blindness), its management, and how dedication and care can help overcome such challenges.
In terms of team management, I recalled Chak De! India. That hockey team was even more difficult to manage, not just because of differences in individual strengths, but also due to divisions of region, religion, language, caste, and tribe.
No one represents unity in diversity better than India.
Our nation hosts and represents vast ethnicities. Yes, we fail due to internal conflicts.
India may stumble, but with unity, it will always rise stronger.
Teamwork is about using individual talents to manage differences.

Becoming a leader and holding power is not about privilege or fun, it comes with responsibility, sacrifice, and strict adherence to law and order.
History, mythology, and even fiction show us that uncorrupted leaders and their families often suffer greatly for staying true to principles.
Mythology: Lord Rama.
Real world: Soldiers, police, journalists, judiciary, Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi.
Fiction: Changheng (God of War, Love Between Fairy and Devil), Xiao Bai (Love Better Than Immortality).
On the other hand, those who chose a normal life had to give up power or position:
History: King Edward VIII.
Fiction: Shangguan Qiu Yue (Love Better Than Immortality).
Uncorrupted leaders never cling to power. They willingly step aside, mentor others, and ensure continuity. Power, in its ideal form, should be multipolar, allowing responsibility to be shared and rotated.
Even in mythology:
Lord Shiva shows vulnerability.
Lord Vishnu rests in yog-nidra.
Lord Brahma works in the background.
None seek supremacy; instead, they coordinate harmoniously.
Even a “sleeping” Kumbhakarna had value, while Lakshman’s wife quietly held strength within closed doors slept continuously for 14 years !
Every individual carries leadership potential. With quality education, health, and skill-building, people can naturally step up when needed.
Recognizing contributions and rewarding them fairly ensures that leadership becomes a shared responsibility, not a throne to be fought over.
Leadership begins at home, with shared responsibility, fairness, and trust. Even an over sleeper like me has immense value. It is the duty of the head or leader to utilize that power.
————-
Everyone deserves a share in power and decision-making.
True power is never about domination, it is about shared responsibility, humility, and the courage to let go. Corruption begins when leaders cling to power for personal gain instead of empowering others.
