Anupama tells Shah family that Anuj must have spoken after much thought, so they should listen to him once. Anuj apologizes Shahs and says his intention is not to go against them or provoking Pakhi, definitely not enacting Pakhi’s father, he just spoke according to the situation. Vanraj says its not a question of right or not, he is neither Pakhi’s father nor Adhik’s. Anuj asks is he not anything to them. Vanraj says Anuj is, but Anuj cannot decide what is right for his daughter. Anupama says Anuj is just keeping his point. Anuj says he is concerned for both Adhik and Pakhi. Vanraj warns him not to talk about Adhik in this house. Hasmukh says Vanraj is Pakhi’s father, but others are also related in some or the other way and are concerned. Anuj says a father can fight with
He says he spoke to Adhik and learn that both Adhik and Pakhi are serious about their relationship and wants to marry at any cost; he is not forcing them to get the kids married right now, but take time and get them married at the right time; he doesn’t want the kids to be rebellious and go against them. Kavya and Hasmukh says Anuj is right. Anuj says they should handle the situation as friends and not parents now. Pakhi over phone tells Adhik that they should go ahead with their decision as their parents are not agreeing. Adhik says Anuj will convince her family. Pakhi says Vanraj is not agreeing at all. Adhik says then they should go ahead with their decision.
Vanraj tells Anupama that after listening to so many opinions, he is unable to understand at all; he feels Anuj is right, but then thinks even he is right. Anupama says let us seek some time from Pakhi and then think of a solution peacefully. Anuj asks Hasmukh if he spoke right. Hasmukh says he spoke right according to the situation. Samar and Hasmukh then cheer up Leela and asks her to stop thinking much and get well soon. Kavya tells Anupama and Anuj that they always are available whenever a problem arises in Shah family, she wants them to forget everything and enjoy their first diwali with Little Anu. They thank her for her concern and leaves for home. Anuj says he wants to tell her something else, but not here.
Pakhi writes in her diary that she immensely loves Adhik. While driving back home, Anuj informs Anupama that Adhik, Ankush, and Barkha wanted to control Anpama by using Pakhi. Anupama is shocked to hear that and says she wanted to have a sibling-like bonding with Barkha and Ankush, but they were so materialistic. Anuj says he will give them a last chance only because of Anupama. He further reveals that Adhik himself accepted his crime and sought a job from for the first time after finishing his MBA, he seems to genuinely have formed himself and needs help. Their topic then changes to diwali celebration.
Vanraj knocks Pakhi’s room door. Pakhi shouts leave her alone. Vanraj walks in and says they spoke what they wanted to, let us end all this; since its a question of her life, he doesn’t want to hurry and neither she should; he hasn’t neither agreed nor rejected her decision. Anuj and Anupama reach home. Anupama says they will celebrate first diwali with Little Anu, she wants to buy new crockery like she does every diwali, etc. Vanraj tells Pakhi that she shouldn’t take any extreme decision and enjoy diwali forgetting everything. He asks her not to meet Adhik until he and Anupama meet Adhik’s parents and discuss the matter with them. Pakhi says she will give him time as he wants, but wants to clear that she and Adhik love each other and want to marry each other at any cost. Vanraj walks out of her room and finds Hasmukh standing. He hugs Hasmukh and asks why its so difficult to be a girl’s father. Hasmukh says its difficult to understand a child and make her understand, but he need not worry as everything will be alright.
Barkha gets angry on Ankush and Adhik for revealing their intentions to Anuj. Adhik warns her not to interfere between him and Pakhi. Anuj and Anupama return. Adhik asks Anuj if he spoke to Vanraj. Ankush says he got a call and both Vanraj and Anuj have decided that Adhik and Pakhi will not meet each other until the issue is solved. Barkha thinks she doesn’t want Pakhi to sit on her like Anupama and will not let this marriage happen. Next morning, anupama cleans a steel bowl with her, Anuj, and Little Anu’s names engraved on it and thinks she will feed kheer to Little Anu after pooja. Anuj walks in and says he wants to buy her gold, but she wants steel. He gets romantic with her and hugs her. Tumsa Koi Pyara Koi Masoom Nahi Hai.. song plays in the background.
Precap: Anupama decides to complete her finance studies while Samar, Vanraj, and others warn her about the difficulties she would face.
She says she is not bothered about people’s taunts about her age, she just needs their support.
