Gautam questions Anupama about proof of his betrayal, but she replies that truth needs no proof, and the Kotharis are free to believe him if they want. When Vasundhara accuses Anupama of creating drama, she angrily declares that Gautam tried to manipulate her team, her pride and family. Warning the Kotharis against him, she reminds Parag that Prarthana was never wrong about Gautam.
Gautam then blames Paritosh for morphing a video for money, but Anupama defends him, saying he lacks the skills for such deceit. She explains that she came only to warn them before Gautam betrays them too. When Gautam orders her out, Anupama insists that wrongdoers must be taught a lesson, just as she disowned Paritosh for his own good. She apologizes to Pari, who expresses full trust in her. Gautam mocks her, saying she expects the Kotharis to throw him out like Paritosh, but her wish will never come true.
At that moment, Parag shocks everyone by slapping Gautam and demanding Anupama punish him. Furious, Anupama beats Gautam for mistreating Prarthana and warns him never to harm Ansh, Prarthana, or her family again. Rahi supports Anupama’s actions, urging Gautam to leave. Regretting his misplaced trust, Parag counts Gautam’s misdeeds and finally throws him out of the house.
Gautam retaliates by demanding his invested money with interest, threatening to involve his father to ruin the Kotharis. But Parag firmly declares that with his family, talent, and Anupama’s support, no one can destroy them.
Precap: Parag orders Gautam to leave, but Gautam vows to take revenge for the humiliation. Vasundhara warns Parag that making Gautam his enemy will bring trouble for everyone. Parag tells her to stop defending Gautam, while Vasundhara accuses him of blindly following Anupama’s influence.

Moti baa is a conservative person. She prefers son over daughter and opposes divorce. She hopes to protect her family from being torn apart, so she is willing to sacrifice the happiness of her own granddaughter for the well-being of the entire family. In her view, if she didn’t compromise with her son-in-law, it would only enrage him, and then the peace of her family would be destroyed by him.Just like in war, a monarch pacifies the enemy by ceding a part of his own territory.
@Mila isn’t she contradicting, she rather her grand daughter suffers n the family have to always on the look out for Gautam before he strikes?? Keeping him in the family or business is like feeding enemy strength to attack them anytime?? Isn’t it better to get rid of him once n for all?? How does keeping Gautam means wellbeing for the family? Didn’t her granddaughter suffered? Didn’t she lived in fear that Gautam might ruins Kothari?? Can Gautam really be pacified?? The safest is to keep him out n just beware of him, no one supposed to tolerate abuse physically or mentally, Prarthana physically n Motibaa mentally.
She is a cruel and vindictive person. She created an unhappy childhood for both her sons. She preferred to not see her granddaughters abuse. A mean minded individual.

Why Vasandhara still sides with Gautam? His true colour is exposed, he even tried to harm Parag! If Gautam is that powerful why is he clinging on to the Kotharis?? He can always go back to his father right?
Didn’t Gautam pretended to killed himself in front of Vasandhara? Why is he so arrogant now? He is sticking to the Kotharis because he is nobody without Kotharis! Vasandhara is so stupid, in fact the Kotharis too, they were scared of him but in actual fact Gautam is a nobody without Kotharis!!
@Enam Because Moti baa believed that her family would not be able to bear the revenge from Gautam and his family, she pretended not to see her granddaughter suffering.After Samar was killed, Kinjal and Pakhi also prevented their husbands from seeking justice for Samar out of fear.
However, peace cannot always be bought through compromise.
Gautam wants to take control of the entire Kothari family. He won’t leave Kothari on his own until he achieves his goal, otherwise, all his previous efforts will be in vain.
@Mila I agree with your explanation, Vasandhara cannot only think of the fear that may happen or not, by sacrificing the peace the family deserves now, the family has to suffer just because of the threat? Might as well get rid of him now! He may or may not strikes again but at least the family are ther together to face him, don’t tell me the whole family together cannot fight one enemy?
