Ankit Bathla to play the second male lead in Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey

The makers of all TV shows are always churning their brains to bring in more excitement in the story line so that the interest of the viewers stays intact. In the show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, the makers have gone the extra mile to make that happen. A temporary exit is in the planning for the male lead and a new lead is making his way in. Yes you readit right, as Manan Joshi will be away to create the much-needed drama in the storyline, the makers of the show have roped in Ankit Bathla to play the new male lead. Ankit was last seen in Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki, which ended in February this year.

A source close to the show KKIS, informed ETimes “Ankit is not replacing Manan. He is being introduced as a new character and will play the other hero. Manan’s track will be put on hold for some time in order to spruce up the drama. Once he is back, they will have a parallel track, which will intertwine eventually.”

When contacted, Ankit said, “I haven’t received any confirmation from the production house, so I won’t be able to comment on it yet.”

Talking about KKIS, the show currently features Yesha Rughani and Manan in the lead roles. The cast also includes seasoned actors like Delnaaz Irani, Rajeev Kumar, Nishigandha Wad, Sandeep Rajora, Imran Khan, Abha Parmar and Shilpa Kadam.
