Sab TV’s popular show Wagle Ki Duniya is all set to witness an entry of a grey character in the upcoming episodes. The show, which recently completed one year of runtime, continues to go stronger than ever. Actor Amit Varma has been roped in to essay a negative role in the show.
Varma has been off the small screen for a long time is all set to make a comeback with Wagle Ki Duniya. The actor will be essaying the role of Nick.
In a recent interview, the actor talked about it and shared, “It was one of my all-time favorite shows as a child. I was bowled over by the simplicity of the show and how Anjan Ji used to so genuinely portray and solve the day-to-day issues of society and relationships. It was an honor for me to be a part of Wagle Ki Duniya, to add to it the fact that it’s produced by Hats off who are family to me so it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of the show.”
Talking about his character in the show, he said, “Well, normally I’m known to play the Mr nice guy, but this one will be like a journey of being one on the grey side. We are all grey and make mistakes in life and how we learn and realize from them is what the show and even this character is about.”
When asked about his experience of working with the leads of the show, he said, “Oh, it was a pleasure. I have worked with both Sumeet Raghavan and Pariva Pranati in Badi Door Se and Hotel Kingston. It was great to reconnect and shoot with them, they are such wonderful co-stars and actors.”
Amit concluded with a message for his fans. He said, “Thank you so much for being so patient to see me on screen, and no better show than Wagle to re-start it and not stop hereafter.”
