Amandeep Sidhu delighted to take on the lead role in Saubhagyavati Bhava 2, Following Sriti Jha’s legacy
Amandeep Sidhu, known for her previous role in Chashni, is all set to take on the lead role in the highly anticipated TV show “Dil Se Dua Saubhagya Vati Bhava 2.” The talented actress talked about it in a recent interview and expressed her joy at being a part of the show, which she fondly remembers watching with her family back in 2011. The first season of the show featured the stellar performances of Sriti Jha, Karanvir Bohra, and Harshad Chopda.
Speaking about her role, Amandeep shared, “Sriti is a senior actress, and I have always admired her work. I have cherished watching Saubhagyavati with my mom when it aired in 2011. It fills me with immense pride to be chosen to play the lead role opposite Dheeraj Dhoopar.”
Despite the unexpected end of her previous show, Chashni, Amandeep continued her journey in the industry, diligently giving auditions. She also shared her thoughts on the evolving audience preferences, “TV show makers are constantly experimenting with new concepts, but it seems that today’s audience lacks the patience to connect deeply with a show. The rise of OTT platforms is a testament to this trend, where viewers quickly move on to other shows if they don’t enjoy the initial episodes. Similarly, viewers also seem to have less patience for TV shows. As an artist, I believe good concepts deserve time to establish themselves, and I hope audiences will consider giving shows the patience they deserve.”
The upcoming second season of Saubhagyavati Bhava will see Dheeraj Dhoopar playing the lead role, with Amandeep Sidhu portraying his wife. There are also indications that Karanvir Bohra might be part of the highly anticipated second season.
