Amal Sehrawat: Will miss the team of Choti Sarrdaarni

Amal Sehrawat, who plays the role of Jagga in Choti Sarrdaarni, will soon bid farewell to the show as his role is coming to an end. Confirming the news, Amal says, “Yes, I will soon wrap up shooting for the show. As per the demand of the script, there will be some big changes and in a mishap, my character will be killed. The show is set for a five-year leap and the story will see some major developments.”

The actor adds that although he was prepared for it, it still hurts as it is never easy to deal with your role coming to an end. Amal says, “Of course, it hits you as an actor. Though I knew about it and was prepared, it still hits you when you are informed that you have only a few days of shooting left. I have been doing the show for the past two years and the entire team has become a family for me. We have partied together, celebrated festivals together and suddenly, I will no longer be a part of that family. I had become very close to the unit and I will miss everyone, especially Anita ji, who used to bring pastries and cakes for us. I will also miss Nimrit, who plays my younger sister in the show. I had seriously started treating her like my younger sister off the sets too. She used to seek my advice and it was great fun to be together.”

Amal has been a part of shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and movies like Sarkar 3 and Satya 2 and he believes that actors need to evolve. “There are a lot of challenges in the field of acting. As an actor, getting into a comfort zone is the most dangerous thing and Choti Sarrdaarni had become a comfort zone for me. Until I get out of it, I won’t take steps to progress further. So, this was required for me to grow as an actor. But I will keep visiting the sets and meet my co-actors,” he signs off.
