Ali Hassan Turabi joins the cast of Punyashlok Ahilyabai
Ali Hassan Turabi has recently joined the cast of Punyashlok Ahilyabai, where he will be portraying a negative role. Ali talked about it in a recent interview and expressed his excitement about his new character. Shedding light on his role, he said, “I decided to be a part of this show because it feels like home. Being originally from Indore, where the story of Holkar is based, I was immediately drawn to it. After hearing about the character, I quickly accepted the role. Sometimes, things fall into place effortlessly when they are meant to be.”
Having been a part of the industry for a significant period, Ali Hassan Turabi has showcased his talent in shows such as Khaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Raavan, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. However, he believes that historical dramas demand greater dedication. He explains, “Throughout my career, I have worked on various types of shows, but I feel most comfortable and fulfilled when I am involved in costume dramas and historical shows. As a theatrical actor, I thrive in performances, so I find immense joy in such projects. When I was offered this character, the positive or negative aspects did not matter to me. I was solely interested in understanding the character and his story, and I am delighted to have taken on this role.”
