Akshy Mishra on Embracing His Negative Role as Babu Bhaiya in ‘Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai’

Renowned actor Akshy Mishra has recently stepped into a significant role in the popular series Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai, featuring Manasi Joshi Roy and Navika Kotia. In a captivating twist, he is set to portray a negative character in the show, a prospect that delights him immensely.

Akshy excitedly shares his thoughts in a recent interview, stating, “I’m delighted to play a negative role. The storyline of the show is loaded with suspense for the audience, and it will gradually unravel. I depict the leader of a small gang, and people are genuinely fearful of me. My character is affectionately known as Babu Bhaiya in the show. However, what remains undisclosed is the fact that even I have a superior, who has yet to make an entrance. I can’t reveal everything at this point. My character is on the hunt for Kesar, the protagonist played by Navika Kotia.”

The role has proven to be a challenging one for Akshy, who embraces it wholeheartedly. He expresses his joy in finding such a promising and demanding character, sharing, “I’m thrilled that I’m playing a challenging role. As an actor, I’ve always sought something promising to sink my teeth into. I believe that my appearance and mannerisms for this role have been inspired by Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, particularly his 2021 blockbuster movie, ‘Pushpa: The Rise.'”

Akshy, known for his notable work in television shows like the Shabana Azmi-starrer “Amma,” “Shaadi Ke Siyaape,” and the second season of “24,” is not one to limit himself to any single platform. He emphasizes his passion for acting across diverse mediums, be it television, web series, or films. He seeks roles that are intriguing, multi-dimensional, and hold substantial significance within the storyline.

Reflecting on his brief hiatus from television, Akshy recalls, “I wasn’t receiving offers on television that piqued my interest. Acting is my true passion, and while I relished my experiences in other mediums, I longed to return to television with a role that intrigued me. It’s heartening to see the evolving landscape of television, which aligns with my artistic aspirations. I hope I won’t be taking another break from television anytime soon.”

Akshy Mishra’s journey in Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai promises to be a compelling one, as he takes on the intriguing and enigmatic character of Babu Bhaiya, adding depth and excitement to the show.
