Akshit Sukhija, who is known for his role as Ishaan in ‘Fanaa- Ishq Mein Marjawaan’ is super excited to make a comeback in the show as an antagonist.
The actor talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “The show has been one roller coaster ride for me in so many ways but at the same time I feel to have grown a lot during the show and when I was asked if I am comfortable doing a negative character, I just said yes without thinking for another second. So it’s going to be my first time playing a grey shade character which I’m really excited about.”
Talking about how portraying an antagonist, can be a new challenge, he shared, “Acting as an antagonist is going to be a new challenge for me. The show has already been loved by the audience since the start and after so many twists and turns this huge change in Ishaan’s character is going to surprise the audience. Ishaan is back from London with some big plans, now he doesn’t carry himself the same way as earlier, he doesn’t think the same way, earlier he was one guy who was social and use to always help others but now he want his revenge, he is heartbroken, he doesn’t have the same respect and job.”
Akshit essays the role of Ishaan in the show, who was the love interest of Paakhi essayed by Reem Shaikh. The show also features Zain Imam in the lead role as Agastya Raichand.

Honestly, it was a very sad and foolish decision by the producers to make the protagonist as antagonist and the anti-hero/antagonist as protagonist all for pleasing some fans of the actor Zain Imam. This is what popularity does in the industry, kill the storyline and crush the talent and character of the underrated actors. Akshit is underrated but his talent was very obvious. He has very beautiful expressions and acting and Ishaan was a very beautiful character who was scrutinized to the core by Agastya. Now all to please Agastya and Aakhi fans, the producers made a pickle of the whole script and are now crushing Ishaan’s character all to glorify Agastya’s character. It’s really very sad that the producers don’t do justice ♎⚖️ to the storyline when it was reported that the storyline will be that of the movie Darr where Agastya which was SRK’s character in the movie is not glorified but punished and killed. Darr movie was a beautiful script which is why it earned love and respect. Unfortunately, the producers of immj3 couldn’t do the same which is clear from it’s low trps. The producers did the same in Imlie to Malini’s character and ig their karma is hitting them back in some form or the other. None of this producer’s show post Imlie has run longer than a year. Their current shows other than Imlie are low trp bearers. The producers should stop showing injustice to their own, storyline, characters and cast.
P.S. Agastya and Aakhi fans don’t come pouncing on me for whatever I have written. I have nothing against the actor Zain Imam. I am disgusted with the way the original storyline of Darr movie is made into a complete trash all to glorify Agastya’s character.
