Meghnal’s college:
Kunal finished talking to Rahul and walked back to Meghna.. He had a smile on his face..
Meghna: Kya hua? Why are you smiling away like that?
Kunal:Thank you so much ,yaar!
Meghna: Tum mujhe yaar bulathe ho aur Thank you bhi kehte ho! Wah!!
Kunal smiled: I know but seriously Thanks.. I had to say that..
Priyanka walked in with Rahul and soon all 4 of them attended their classes and came out for lunch..
Priyanka walked out with Rahul while Kunal and Meghna walked behind them silently..
Kunal:…. Megh..
Immediately a phone rang.. both of them checked for their phone as both of them had the same ringtone.. Meghna found that it was hers and she showed it Kunal,that it was hers.. they smiled at each other..
Meghna picked up the phone
Meghna: Hello?
In Nairan’s college:
Karan had walked out. Naina couldn’t find him so she went and sat down next to the pillar in the corridor..she leaned onto the pillar and took out her phone to call..
Naina: Hello?
On the call
Naina: Meghu Di!
Meghu: Cheeku!!! Kaisi hein tu?
Kunal left out a sigh knowing that it was a girl on the other side!
Naina : I’m fine Di! What about you?
Meghu: I’m doing good!…..
Tu kuch kehna chathi hein?
Naina: Ha Di! Woh na.. hum sabhi project ke kam se ********** jane wale hein!
Meghna: kitne dino ke liye?
Naina: from this Monday to Thursday…
Properly , sirf 2 din kam ke liye milega!
Meghna: ok! That’s great! Enjoy karna aur project bhi teek se kar lena!
Naina: Ha Di!
Meghna: Ma se batha diya Kya?
Naina: Ha kal rath unse sab kuch keh diya tha!
Meghna:hmm.. ok bye cheeku!
Naina: Bye di!
At Meghnal’s college:
Meghna kept her phone back in her bag.. and turned towards Kunal..
Meghna: Kunal.. tum kuch keh rahe the?
Kunal: Nahi…………. woh.. phone pe kaun thi?
Meghna smiled as they walked behind their friends..
Meghna: She is my younger sister, Naina!
Kunal: okay
they soon reached the canteen
It was Friday evening.. colleges were over..
In Meghna’s hostel they enjoyed as it was a week end. Meghna remembered all her moments with her new funny friend and kept smiling at herself.
While in Naina’s hostel they were busy packing their bags! Naina didn’t know why Karan had behaved like that.. maybe because he never wanted to share anything about Nidhi…his past..
Kunal was missing Meghna all through! He kinda got used to her within just few days!
Karan was also packing but in between he kept thinking why he was put in such a situation! He didn’t know how Naina got to know Nidhi or from where she heard Nidhi’s name! He never wanted to talk about her to anyone.. because it always hurted him.. and nothing else! But he also hated himself for behaving like that Naina.. he knew that he would have hurt Naina but he couldn’t help! He also didn’t want to loose his friend.. who took care of him even after his rude behaviour! He sat down on his bed and cried out loud!!
Nairan’s college:
Monday morning, 8:30
Teacher: get in students! We need to leave by 9.
Karan was already seated in bus! He left the seat next to him free! He looked out of the window! He saw Naina and her gang walking towards the bus. He kept staring at her! He was lost in her beauty, her smile, her laughter, her eyes and her hair that she kept pushing back away from her face as the breeze played with it…
He then looked away as she walked towards the bus!
She came into the bus and found that most of the seats were occupied.. there was a seat next to Karan and a 3 seater next to his seat..
Her friends exchanged looks.. Naina let them in and eyed them to sit on the three seats..she was still standing at the door! Karan was looking outside the window, he avoided eye contact… Naina looked at him, took a deep breath, smiled and walked towards Karan’s seat.
Naina:Hi Karan!
Karan didn’t respond.
Naina: Karan, can I sit next to you? My friends are sitting right here but it’s a 3 seater so there is no space..so May I?
Karan had his bag kept on the seat next to him. He heard all that she told but he didn’t bother to turn and look at her. He simply picked his bag from the seat and got up..
Naina was shocked. She stepped back in fear as he walked towards her. In few steps he stopped.. Naina was completely clueless.. Karan turned around and placed his bag above , went back and sat down in his seat! Naina smiled at him. He was still looking out of the window. Her friends were watching this.. they left a sigh of relief as he sat down..
Naina then tried keeping her bag on the top but she couldn’t keep it properly.. she was busy struggling.
Karan got up from his place again. Naina was scared.
She thought: Ab maine kya kiya? Hey Bhagwan bacha le !
Naina held onto her bag and moved back.
Karan took Naina’s bag from her hand, pushed his bag aside and kept hers in place and sat down.
Naina too sat down.. she kept smiling , looking at him..
Naina: Thank you Karan!
Karan turned towards her..
Karan: kal ke liye…. I’m really very sorry! I didn’t mean to..
Naina: its ok Karan! I understand!
Saying this she kept her hands on his.
Naina just smiled at him.. He couldn’t stop himself from smiling back at her!
At Meghnal’s college:
Meghna met Kunal
Meghna: Hi Kunal!
Waving her hands at him as she walked towards him..Kunal smiled and waved back.
Kunal: Kya hua why are you glowing so much today?
Meghna: Was that a compliment or just sarcasm?
Kunal: Sarcasm!!
Meghna’s jaws dropped open and she kept her hands on her hips, faking anger.
Kunal: Arey yaar! Mein mazak kar raha tha!
Meghna laughed and Kunal laughed along with her and soon stopped laughing they both were soon lost in each other’s eyes. Soon Priyanka jumped in between them.. breaking their eye lock!
Rahul: Priyanka.. tujhe nahi lagtha ki yahan kuch toh chal raha hein? Huh?
Priyanka: Mujhe bhi lag raha hein.. something is cooking..
Kunal and Meghna were blushing..they didn’t know why they felt something for eachother.
Meghna slapped Priyanka’s hand and whispered to her: aisa kuch nahi hein!
Soon this awkward moment was over! But unfortunately followed by another !
Meghna: Tum log mere behen se milna chahoge?
Kunal: Yeah why not!
Priyanka and Rahul looked at him. And nodded.
Kunal to those two: Kya hein? Tum dono ko mein!!!
And soon there was a Tom and jerry, running race..
Meghna laughed at the three.. as Kunal ran after Priyanka and Rahul!
