Episode 48
Khyati takes Sakshi along with her.. While Varun stand there worried.. seeing Nairan enjoying..
The girls move aside and discuss something..
All the elders had formed groups here and there.. and in between there was an awkward silence among all of them. They had run out of topics to discuss.
Sakshi and Khyati came up and called out for all of them to gather up..
Sakshi: Since the atmosphere has turned boring now..why don’t we try and make it interesting?
Varun looked up. He liked her voice. He forgot about everything when he saw her face.
Khyati: I request all the elders to form groups.. what say about men vs women?
The elders all separated accordingly and stood facing against each other..
Sakshi: Now all of you sit down on the mat, please..
she waited and then continued..
Sakshi: so you guys will play Antakshari..
Khyati stood there pointing at one of the group. And started
Khyati: Baite baite kya kare karna hein kuch kaam.. shuru karo antakshari.. leke prabhu ka naam.. M! The Ladies get the letter M! So start..
Sakshi: Now the youngsters follow us!
She said turning around and walking out.
A small gang of kids and all the others like Meghnal, Nairan, Vishal, Varun and all followed the two girls.. all of them walked out. Khyati and Sakshi presented them the collection of fire crackers.. the kids were crazy. They were ready to pounce over it.. But then both of them told the kids to stay quiet..
she mentioned the elders among them to take care of the small ones.. so they divided the children..
Meghnal , Nairan, Vishyati, Varun and Sakshi formed group of two each and took care of few specific kids as they played with the crackers..
Meghnal were holding onto each other and play with the crackers.
Naina was helping a kid while Karan stood there watching her admiringly..
Vishal and Khyati were playing with the kids and the crackers..
Varun was lost somewhere.. Sakshi walked towards him and tapped his shoulders.. and gave him few crackers and signed him to burst the crackers..
He looked at her smiling face.. still trying to refuse.. but he gave in soon.. a small kid came and called him by pulling his shirt.. and asking him to join them.
Varun looked back at Sakshi.. Sakshi smiled and raised her eyebrows.. indicating him to give up and join in.. he then smile weakly at the kid and joined them..
Khyati turned around to look for more crackers.. Vishal was standing next to her but was busy playing with the kids..
Two kids started pushing and pulling each other.. they were fighting for crackers.
One of the kid pushed the other on soo hard that he went and fell onto Khyati’s leg with force. This force caused Khyati to loose her balance.. Well, before her back could reach the ground with a huge–Thud! Vishal’s protective hands had wrapped around her. Stopping her from falling.
Khyati had expected to fall with a thud! But she didn’t feel that happening.. she slowly opened her eyes.
Vishal’s worried eyes looked into hers. Through their eyes they conveyed their messages..
Vishal: Are you ok?
Khyati: Yess.. Thank you!
And she blushed.
They stayed liked that for 2 full minutes..
The rest 6 had gathered around and were watching them stay in that position. Kunal timed it..
Karan whispered: how long bhai?
Kunal: Do minute ho Gaye..
Karan: if they stand like this for a longer time I’m sure they won’t be able to move the hand and legs ,later, due to pain..
They all giggled and all stood up straight.. and coughed out loud..
All: ohooo ohooo!
Both of them turn to look at all of them standing there.. they soon stood up straight and adjusted their dresses and hair. Their cheeks couldn’t be left unnoticed by the rest of them, as their cheeks had turned red!
All of them burst out into laughter..seeing them..
Soon the day ended as everyone bid goodbyes..
Sakshi was going back to her room when she found Sandhya already sleeping in her bed. She understood that she hadn’t attended the entire function..
Sakshi walked back to her room pushing aside her weird thoughts about Sandhya..
Next morning everyone woke up..
All went down to have breakfast together.
NK: Kunal, tumne bahoth acha kaam kiya…………(he said looking at Kunal then he looked at his food).. Karan… Naina aur Meghna.. tum logo ne bhi bohoth Acha kaam kiya…
The last sentence shocked all of them.. everyone looked up at him in shock..
NK silently got up from there and left..
Kunal was happy.. he a very big smile on his face. Meghna and Naina looked at each other happily… Nirmala was extremely happy to hear that comment..she looked up and thanked god..
Dadaji did the same.. Sakshi and Khyati looked up at their dad.. and then at all of them..
Sandhya’s food choked her hearing the news..she coughed out in shock.. the line kept repeating in her head..
Sakshi handed her a glass of water to her.. Sakshi’s doubt on her kept increasing Day by day..
Everyone looked at Karan.. Karan was frozen, he couldn’t believe his ears.. his eyes had welled up with tears. Naina saw this and she kept her hand on his shoulder.. and smiled as she knew that it was tears of happiness.
He controlled and happily ate his food. He then went to his room.
He picked up his guitar and started playing in happiness..
Naina walked in to pack her bags and leave for office.
She smiled seeing him happily playing the guitar and creating a new song.
Naina: Karan? Why are you sooo happy today?
Karan got up.. and walked towards her.. his voice filled with happiness and excitement..
Karan: Naina.. Today I’m very happy.. you know why?
Naina: Why?
Karan: Naina.. today.. my Dad complemented me.. But the best part is there are few more good news for the day!
Naina: What is the news? I can’t wait to know Karan..
