Episode 14
My last episode!
Suddenly Karan stopped laughing as he remembered something. Naina saw him stop, she asked..
Naina: Kya hua?
Karan(in a very low voice): The ring!
Naina:oh..
She then whispered something in his ears… He nodded yes, shows his thumbs up ?? to her and runs upstairs to Kunal’s room! While the rest of them watched this, wondered what they were speaking about and then continued with the conversations..
Slowly Nirmala moved forward to talk to Naina, Naina smiled at her! Soon Karan came down and she looked up at him!
Nirmala turned and looked at Karan then back Naina, who was busy watching him!
Karan: Bhai, idhar aana Zara!
Kunal:Kya hua?
Meghna watched as Kunal moved towards Karan. Karan passed the box of ring to Kunal in a very secretive way then whispered in Kunal’s ears! Kunal hugged his brother and…
Kunal: thank you so so much bhai!
Karan: Bola na bhai all the credit goes to Naina!
Kunal: Yes, even for bringing my dearest brother back!
Karan smiled and looked forward. He saw Naina smiling at him! He said ” Thank you” to Naina. She understood what he said so she just smiled! She had made him understand that this grudge towards his brother and himself was unnecessary, as the reason for Nidhi’s death would have been many other things!
Nirmala was very happy, she was still standing and watching Karan and Naina talking in sign language and smiling at each other. Karan and Kunal were still hugging.
Kunal: Bhai, tu na, waha ja kar Naina se bath kar…mujhe chod de yaar! Mujhe bhi toh jana hai..
Karan suddenly looked away and broke the hug and smiled at brother stupidly! Kunal smiled at him and went back to Meghna!
Nirmala stepped forward to talk to Naina. Naina looked at Nirmala. They smiled at each other.
Nirmala: Tum bohot acchi ho beta!! Karan ke badlav ke liye mein tumse Thank you kehna chahthi thi!
Nirmala was teary eyed.. she was about to fold her hand! But Naina held her hands stopping her from folding hand!
Naina: Aap ye kya kar rahi hein? Mein toh Karan ki dosth hoon. Toh ussey samjana mera farz hein!
Khyati walked forward and hugged Naina, who hugged her back!
Khyati: Thank you so much Di!
Naina smiled. They broke the hug. Karan walked towards Dadaji and Meghna after Kunal..
He noticed the three women in the corner!
Then looked back at Kunal. Who excused himself and Meghna and moved aside while Karan pulled Dadaji. And made him sit on the chair!
Meghnal conversation:
Meghna: Kunal? Kya hua?
Kunal: Nothing just come with me.
He took her out and shut her eyes! Soon they reached the garden where there was a table with two chairs, the whole place was decorated with flowers!
Meghna was speechless.
Meghna: This is beautiful!! Kunal yeh sab…
Kunal: Meine nahi kiya cause this was a surprise for me too! I didn’t know that you were going to come! It was all their plan!
Meghna smiled.
Kunal slowly knelt down.
Kunal: Meghna.. From the first time I saw you! I really don’t know what had happened to me, I simply felt like walking along with you for ever! The first time you spoke to me! Made me feel like I could sit and listen to our talk all my life! And that day, you were about to fall! That’s when I realised my feeling for you,Meghna.. it was love! That moment I thought I lost you! I felt as though my life was going to stop! That’s when I realised you weren’t just my Love but also My life! We just have one more year and then we are done! At the end of the year, we will have jobs in our hands! Then I can come and ask for your hand, from your family! Now I just need the permission from my queen….( he took out the ring box, opened it and held it forward!)… Will you marry me?
Meghna was overjoyed!! She fell onto the ground, kneeling forward..
Kunal held her.
Meghna: Kunal the first time I saw you! My heart was beating really fast and slowly whenever we met it kept beating faster and faster!!! I didn’t know why! But that day I felt secure in your hands! I realised that I always loved you Kunal!
She hugged him..
They had tears in their eyes! Tears of happiness!
Back in the house:
Karan and Dadaji:
Dadaji: Kya Karan? Tumne mujhe apne dosth se nahi milvaya?
Karan turned to look at the ladies..
Karan: 1 minute Dadaji! I’ll be back!
Karan went to ladies gang!
Nirmala looked at Karan. Soon Khyati and Naina too looked at Karan.
Nirmala (faking anger): Kunal loves Meghna right? And you knew about it from the very start right? Why didn’t you tell me?
Naina spoke up.. trying to shield Karan!
Naina: No auntie! Karan got to know just today! I knew about this since a very long time! I never told him about it..so..
Nirmala laughed at her innocence.
Nirmala cupped her face..
Nirmala: Mein toh mazak kar rahi thi! I’m happy for them! I was just kidding!
Karan: Kya ma? Don’t pull Naina’s legs!
Nirmala and Khyati giggled…
Nirmala: college Mein bhi tum dono aise hi ho kya?
They blushed.
Soon Karan changed the topic.
Karan: Naina, come let me introduce you to Dadaji.
Naina bent down and touched his feet!
Dadaji: jeethi raho beti!
Karan: Dadaji, yeh Naina hein! My best friend!
Naina looked at him and they smiled at each other.
Dadaji: Tum dono behne ek jaisi ho! Aaj kal, logon me sanskar bohot kam hothe hein! Bado ko milte hi unke pear choona! Yeh sab aaj kal ki bacche kaha karthe hein!
Karan: Akir friend kiska hein?
Naina giggled at Karan
Naina: yeh sab hume ma ne sikhaya tha!
Dadaji: bohot ache beta!
Karan:Naina,come I’ll take you all around Chauhan Mansion!
Naina: ok, chalo!
They left. Nirmala and Khyati went and sat next to Dadaji!
Khyati: Dadu..ma, Karan bhai kitne Kush lag rahe hein na? Kitne saalo baad unhe ke accha dosth mila hein!Aur Kunal bhai ko toh pyaar hua hai!
Nirmala and Dadaji smiled…
Karan pulled Naina all around..
Kunal and Meghna also entered the house hand in hand..
Karan and Naina walked towards them…They had a lot of questions!
When Meghnal saw them they left each other’s hands! Naina raised her eyebrows at Meghna asking her what had happened?
Meghna and Kunal had a sad face.. Naina and Karan looked at each other, worried. Nirmala, Dadaji and Khyati knew what they doing!
Karan and Naina: Kya hua?
Looking at their siblings.
Kunal: woh… Meghna, mujhse pyaar……
Meghnal looked at each other.. they couldn’t control. They burst out laughing at Nairan.
Nairan still looked confused!
Kunal: Meghna mujhse pyaar karti hein!
And Meghna showed the ring that she was wearing! And they started laughing! The trio on the chairs also started laughing!
Nairan were both red in anger!
The Tom and Jerry Game started..
They jumped hopped skipped and after sometime they threw themselves onto the couches! Phew ?!!!
Kunal: Dadu, ma, Mein aap dono se kuch maangna chahtha tha! Mein aur Meghna.. we wanted to get married. Well, not immediately but as soon as we get our jobs!
Dadaji: I’ll support you!
Nirmala: I have no problem with that! I would love to have you as my Bahu, Meghna! Don’t worry I will never treat you like my Bahu.. I’ll treat you like my daughter!
Khyati: Ma! Hope you won’t forget me!
Kunal: of course! We will throw you out, soon!
Meghna: Arrey! Aisa kuch nahi hone wala! You dare do anything of that sort to my sister!
Saying this she side- hugged Khyati!
Karan was in a deep thought..
Naina shook him.
Naina: Are you sleeping?
Karan: No!
Naina knew that there was something!
Naina: there is something! Tell me what is it! Is it about Kunal bhai and Meghu Di?
Karan: I don’t know if dad will say a yes to Kunal bhai and Meghu Di!
Kunal heard this.
Kunal: Arrey she is not your Meghu di, she is your bhabhi… which means I WILL marry Meghna! You don’t have to worry about dad! And Naina call me jeeju! Not bhai!
Naina: ok jeeju!
Kunal: My cute and sweet saali!
Meghna: stop flirting with my cheeku, Kunal !
They all laughed..
Kunal: ok… ok.. can we have something? I’m feeling hungry!
They had dinner and soon left back to their hotels and had gone back to Boondi the next day! 2 years had passed by! Kunal and Meghna were interviewed and even got jobs in two different companies! Their love story continued! Naina and Karan had finished their studies..They had always been best friends through all those years! Everyone excepted Karan in the college! He was a completely new person, an incredible human being!
Discussion with parents:
Shardha was happy. She was ready to talk to Kunal’s parents! She knew that Kunal was a good person! She would love to send Meghna there! The mother and the daughters had a group hug while in Kunal’s house…it was completely different!
NK: No! He is not marrying that girl!
Dadaji: She is girl filled with qualities!
NK: How do you know? First of all, she is from a middle class family, she comes from Boondi! I don’t want Kunal to go through all that I went through! (Pointing at Nirmala) Especially not someone like her!
Kunal: Dad!!! (Almost shouted) Meghna was selected by Dadu.. Even I chose her too..She is very well educated and she is currently working..And she is beautiful! Isn’t that enough?
NK: If you are fine with it then.. ok! Sandhyaji, I want you to talk to their family and fix their alliance!
Sandhya: Ji bhaisahab!
They all left..
Karan was busy chatting on the phone!
Kunal peeped in..
Kunal: Kaun? Naina?
Karan was really busy! He didn’t even hear him!
Karan : huh? Yeah!
Kunal smacked Karan’s head!
Karan: Bhai? Hi! When did you come in ? What happened? What did dad say?
Kunal: I came in few minutes back . Looks like your busy chatting!
Karan: ya!
*ringtone*
Karan: Bhai, Naina! Video chat!
Karan answered it!
Karan and Kunal:Hi, Naina!
Naina: Hiiiiii, Jeeju!!
Karan narrowed his eyelids and sat up angrily!
Kunal: How are you, Naina?
Naina : I’m fine Jeeju! What about you?
Kunal: I’m fine too! Where is Meghna?
Meghna heard Kunal’s voice and rushed into Naina’s room! And sat down next to her!
Kunal: Arrey wah! Talk about the devil and the devil appears!?
Naina giggled while Meghna kept her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyelids! Karan was pissed off with Naina, for not wishing him and caring about his existence and Kunal, for teasing his Bhaibhi!
Karan pinched Kunal’s hands…
Kunal: Ahh!
Meghna: Karan? Kya tumne suna,Kunal ne Kya kaha?
Karan: Yeah I did! He got his punishment.. that’s why you can hear him, screaming “ah uh!” And all!!
Meghna giggled..
Naina: Karan, that is not fair!
Karan: Aur jo kuch bhi tum karti ho? Woh sab,Fair, huh?
He was really angry.. He just got up and left from there..Had she forgotten something?..she thought to herself
Kunal: Arey! What are you angry for?bhai?
Karan ignored and just walked out!
Naina: Karan?!?
