DEV’s POV
I am happy with my work. Spending extra time for changing people is satisfying. I am really working hard to heal people..And now I want something for myself..Who else it could be.. Sonakshi.. Love of my life.. Today is my birthday and I am going to give myself the most precious gift.. I am going to propose her today. I will get ready n will leave for the hospital..As usual she must be waiting for me. I don’t think she knows my date of birth. Nevermind… Let’s get ready Dev. I was hell confused with what I should wear. It ended with a navy blue shirt n formal pant..And I left..

Sona’s POV
I don’t want to go to hospital. I have no guts to face him. I don’t want to meet him. What will I do if all what I saw is true..My dreams will haunt me.. Sonakshi Dev Di..Will remain in the dreams. I have to leave for hospital..I have no option.. I wish I could not meet him today.
Asha: Sona, kya soch rahi ho beta?
Sona: Nothing ma..Just leaving for hospital.
And Sona left for the hospital

At hospital
Tina: Happy birthday Dev…
Dev: thank you so much for remembering
Tina: you are always welcome
Dev: I need your fever Tina.. While coming to hospital I forgot to bring flowers
Tina: Don’t tell me that you are going to propose her.
Dev: Yesss I am..
Tina: Look at the clock, she will be reaching in no time. Let me run to get flowers.
She left immediately..And brought bunch of red roses.
Dev took them and headed to Sona’s cabin.

Sona’s POV
I entered the hospital. Sona you have to do this. Anyhow he will come in front of you. You can’t run from circumstances. Tina was there at reception.
Tina: Good morning Dr. Bose
Sonakshi: Good morning Tina. How was your weekend?
Tina: Perfect. Dr. Bose are you ok? Aapki tabiyat thik hai na?
Sonakshi: Haan.. why did you ask that?
Tina: Dark circles and pale face..Aisa lag Raha hai you are in tension.
Sonakshi: No no not at all I am absolutely fine. I am getting late..See you later

I left for my cabin. Be brave Sona. I entered..He was waiting inside with a bunch of red roses.
Sona: Good morning Dr. Dixit..
Dev: Good morning Sonakshi.. I was waiting for you.
Sona: Sorry I am late
Dev: It’s absolutely fine.. I want to ask you something
Sona: yeah..Go on

Dev kneeled down in front of me with roses in his hand..OMG what he is upto
Dev: Dr. Sonakshi Bose, will you marry me?
It was a shock for me. I wasn’t at all prepared for answering the question. What should I answer? I am hell confused.. What should..
Dev: Sonakshi, kaha kho gayi AAP? my knees are getting hurt.
Sonakshi: please stand up Dr. Dixit. I am.. I am not ready. I don’t want to marry this early. I have responsibility of my mom. I want to be stable in my career. And right now I can’t think about marriage.
Dev: There is no hurry. But do think about it. I can wait.. Whenever you feel that you are ready for getting married please let me know.
Sonakshi: I am sorry if I hurt you..
Dev: It’s absolutely fine. But keep these flowers at least. Hope you don’t mind
Sonakshi: Sure.
Dev: I will leave now.. Have a great day.
Sonakshi: Good day..
And he left.. I just saw him leaving my cabin. And tears made their way. The moment I always dreamt I couldn’t even enjoy it. He was there in front of me and I couldn’t say yes.. I know it’s hurting him but he doesn’t have any idea about how much it is hurting me.

DEV’s POV
I left her cabin. She said NO. She didn’t say No Dev..She is not prepared for this. She didn’t say yes but she didn’t say no either. Don’t lose hopes. May be it was unexpected for her. I consoled myself.
As soon as I entered my cabin, Tina followed me.
Tina: How did you propose her? What did she say?
Dev: She is not ready for marriage.. I told Tina everything.
Tina: I guess something is bothering her Dev. When she came in the morning, i felt that she didn’t even sleep for many days.
Dev: Really? I was so excited that I didn’t notice it.
Tina: may be she is not feeling well..or there can be some family problem also..
Dev: You are right Tina. I think I should give her time.
Tina: yup Dev..and don’t lose hopes.
Tina went to do her work. I kept on thinking..she didn’t call me by my name. It was Dr. Dixit since morning..she didn’t wish me.. Don’t worry Dev everything is going to be fine.

Sona’s POV
I left hospital by 5pm. I can’t fake my emotions. I came home.. thank God mom is not there at home. I opened the door, went in my room., Landed on my bed..Dev…I love you Dev..
