Coming from the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, we told how actor Mayur Vakani aka Sundar tested positive for COVID-19 earlier. Now, another report from the same show is coming in that actor Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide has also tested positive for COVID-19.
Chandwadkar confirmed it with ETimes saying that, “My symptoms of cold had actually gone away but suddenly yesterday I could not smell camphor in puja. I felt I had lost the sense of smell and got myself tested. Upon getting the test, I immediately informed the ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ unit that I shall stay away from the shoot until I am perfectly alright again. Yes, I am COVID positive but I am taking every possible care. As for my isolation, I am doing it at my home only.”
He has also asked Sonalika Joshi (Madhvi Bhide) and Palak Sidhwani (Sonu) to get themselves tested. He confirmed that he is feeling fairly better and taking this as a short holiday.
Coming to Joshi and Sidhwani, the former said that she is just about to get test done but is feeling fine; the latter also said that she is feeling fine and got her test done already and is waiting for her result.
