Aarti desperately pleads with Anjali over the phone, begging her not to take the Rajyavanshi family to the police station. Anjali dismisses her, refusing to interfere and declaring that a murderer from her husband’s hit-and-run resides in that very house. She reveals that the vehicle that struck Aman belonged to the Rajyavanshis. Aarti insists it was an accident, citing the legal papers she has seen, but Anjali counters that it was murder, claiming she saw Yuvraj at the scene with her own eyes. In a final, emotional outburst, Aarti tells Anjali that if she proceeds, she will be responsible for her daughter’s dead body. A shocked Anjali questions her, but Aarti remains firm and hands the phone to Ved.
Ved takes the call and attempts to reason with Anjali, reminding her that she is Aarti’s mother and should not be the one to destroy her daughter’s happiness. Anjali argues back, bringing up Ved’s marriage to Kaali and vowing not to let him ruin Aarti’s life. Ved clarifies the marriage was a sham, but Anjali threatens to take him to court. Raghav then seizes the phone and boldly challenges Anjali, asserting that he will ensure Aarti wins the legal case.
After Aarti takes the phone back and exchanges more harsh words with her mother, Anjali tells Pankaj they are leaving. A confused Pankaj questions what is happening, but Anjali, resolved, leads him away. Witnessing the call, Uday tells his family that Aarti’s influence is their key to winning the case. A relieved Aarti hugs Ved, a moment observed by Sadhika, who concludes that Raghav’s legal services may not be needed if Aarti can personally stop Anjali.
Meanwhile, Anjali has a strategic breakthrough. She calls Pankaj, noting that everyone is focused on the truck’s owner and the victims but has forgotten about the driver. She instructs him to find out if the driver is still alive, and Pankaj confirms he is and promises to check the records.
The conflict escalates when Sadhika, Raghav, and Abhay arrive at Anjali’s house with an engagement invitation for Ved and Aarti. Anjali defiantly states that as Aarti’s mother, she will decide her daughter’s groom. Sadhika mockingly asks what maternal responsibilities Anjali has ever fulfilled beyond giving birth. Anjali declares she will never allow the engagement and threatens to bring the police. In a calculated move, Sadhika calls Aarti and puts her on speakerphone, daring Anjali to repeat her threats. Anjali falls silent, but Kaali interjects, vowing to prevent the marriage as long as she is present. Aarti retorts sharply, and Anjali scolds her for her disrespect. Sadhika then delivers a low blow, asking if Anjali’s vendetta stems from her own failure to win Abhay. An embarrassed Abhay ends the call and urges Sadhika to leave, and the Rajput family departs after hurling final insults at Anjali.
