Sonal asks Ved to speak with Aarti, and he agrees. During their phone call, Ved introduces himself as Aarti’s fiancé. Aarti admits she’s never spoken to a marriage prospect before and starts chatting non-stop, even asking Ved if he has a girlfriend. Annoyed by her chatter, Ved abruptly tells her to shut up. Offended, Aarti lashes out at him, reminding him that they’re engaged and asking him to teach her about love. Ved mocks her and disconnects the call. Aarti, frustrated, wonders why Ganesh chose such a rude man for her.
Later, Aarti boards a train and calls Padma to ask if Anjali has eaten. Padma explains that Anjali refuses to eat without her. Aarti asks Padma to hold the phone near Anjali and lovingly encourages her to eat, reminding her of her dream to become a top reporter.
As Aarti contemplates her upcoming marriage and new beginnings, a goon watches her on the train. He calls Ved’s uncle, who orders him to follow and kill Aarti when the time is right. The goon agrees to the plan.
Upon reaching her destination, Aarti video calls Padma. Padma asks if she arrived safely, and Aarti confirms, saying she’s there to pursue a story and make her mark as a journalist. Meanwhile, Padma and Ganesh walk along a road, discussing wedding shopping with Aarti on the call. Suddenly, a car nearly hits Padma, causing her to drop the phone in fear.
Abhay steps out of the car, followed by Sadhika and Mehek. Sadhika is surprised to see Padma and says they’re meeting after 21 years. Padma assures her she’s fine. Aarti calls out from the phone, but Abhay picks it up. Padma quickly takes it back and ends the call, saying she’ll speak to Aarti later. As Padma prepares to leave, Stepney instructs her to pick up the fallen bags and tells Abhay to help her, since they were responsible for the scare.
Precap: Ved’s uncle calls Bhajan to share the news that his son’s wedding has been fixed. Bhajan congratulates him and curiously asks who the bride is. Meanwhile, Aarti excitedly tells her family about the story she just covered and how she also rescued a girl, introducing her as Kali. She asks Anjali if Kali can stay with them, suggesting she blink once to say yes. Ganesh jokes that Anjali would never blink for that—but to everyone’s surprise, Anjali blinks her eyes in agreement.
