Pradeep announces that they will cut the cake to celebrate Aarti’s birthday, but Aarti refuses. When Ganesh asks her why, she reveals that this is the day her father died — a man she never knew. She laments not knowing her family or getting answers from anyone about her past. Ganesh encourages her to cut the cake, reminding her she’ll be leaving after marriage. Internally, he apologizes, fearing that if she learns the truth and goes to the Rajput family, they might harm her. Eventually, Aarti agrees and cuts the cake, offering the first piece to Anjali.
Soon after, Laal calls Aarti, asking why she hasn’t reached the railway station. He informs her that her ticket to Uttar Pradesh has been booked. Aarti agrees to go. When Ganesh asks about her destination, Aarti says she’s going to expose a women trafficking gang. He warns her it’s dangerous, but she insists she’ll be fine and leaves.
Meanwhile, ACP Pankaj visits Laal, seeking a journalist who covered a trafficking story involving women deceived into fake marriages and then sold. Laal lies, saying the girl is out of town. Pankaj asks him to let her know he came. Later, Aarti visits Laal. He asks if she met Pankaj, and she denies it. He hands her the train ticket and urges her to leave, and she agrees.
Laal then receives a call revealing that Uday and Pratap Rajyavanshi are behind the trafficking ring.
At the Rajput estate, Ved’s grandfather informs him that his marriage has been fixed again. Ved resents the idea of another fake marriage, but his grandfather insists, furious at Ved for defending his mother’s honor. He cruelly reminds Ved that his mother was brutally killed, with her body found dismembered. Ved shouts in anger, but his grandfather calls for Sonal to make Ved speak with his fiancée. Sonal complies and soon calls Aarti at the station, handing the phone to Ved so he can talk to her.
