Kali reminds Ved that she is his wife and has the right to be in his bedroom, but Ved coldly tells her he never accepted her as his wife and only loves Aarti. Though he raises his hand, he doesn’t strike her, instead warning her never to call herself his wife again or he will kill her. Kali challenges him to do so, but Ved says he promised Aarti to protect her. He mocks her for being illiterate before walking away.
Sonal arrives to taunt Kali, saying she will never replace Aarti in Ved’s heart and will suffer every day for trying. After Sonal leaves, Kali calls Aarti, complaining that Ved only loves her, keeps her alive only because of his promise, and deems her unworthy to be his wife. Hearing this, Aarti decides to go to Kusumgunj—not to break Ved and Kali’s marriage but to teach Ved a lesson and investigate the truck accident that killed Aman and left Anjali paralyzed.
Meanwhile, Kali looks at Aarti’s painting, recalling Sonal’s words that she will never be the Rajyavanshi family’s daughter-in-law. Uday, Pratap, and Sonal catch her and humiliate her, pointing out Ved’s rejection and deciding to sell her. Sonal drags Kali outside, but Aarti arrives just in time to stop them. She confronts Uday and Pratap, reminding them Kali is their family’s daughter-in-law and warning them that reporters and police will arrive within half an hour if they mistreat her. Ved steps in to defend Aarti when Uday and Pratap threaten her, declaring she is his love. Faced with Aarti’s threat, they back off.
Aarti gives Kali books, encouraging her to start studying and build a new identity, offering to teach her online if needed. Later, Aarti notices her own painting in the house and tries to throw it away, but Ved stops her, confessing his love and insisting she loves him too. When she stays silent, he lets go, and she discards the painting. Aarti once again urges Kali to focus on her education and future before leaving.
Precap: Aarti approaches Ved and tells him the number of the truck that hit Aman and Anjali’s car. She explains that the truck is registered in Kusumganj and asks him to find out its owner. Ved reveals that he already knows—the truck belongs to Uday Rajyavanshi—leaving Aarti shocked.
