Kali tells the Rajput family that only she can protect them and plans to use Ved to shield Aarti. She insists that no one else should influence Ved. Raghav points out that Aarti will listen to someone else—Anjali—but Abhay reminds him that Anjali is paralyzed. Kali tells the family to focus on the matter at hand.
Kali instructs the Rajputs to prepare for registering her marriage with Ved. She explains that while their marriage has occurred, it isn’t legally registered, and if anyone challenges its validity in court, they will need proof. She complains about Ved constantly professing his love for Aarti and then leaves.
Padma tries to convince Aarti that Ved only loves her and that his marriage with Kali is invalid. Aarti refuses, saying she orchestrated Ved’s marriage to Kali as a form of repentance for him. Padma then calls Ved, reminding him that his marriage with Kali is false and urging him to speak with Aarti. She forces Aarti to talk to Ved over the phone, where Ved professes his love. Aarti tells him not to speak of love since he has spent his first night with Kali and drawn her painting. Ved clarifies that he never drew Kali’s painting—he drew Aarti’s—while Kali overhears.
Kali intervenes, taking the phone and explaining to Aarti that Ved’s words about their first night are untrue. She exposes Aarti for calling Ved secretly, which Aarti denies, claiming it was Padma. Kali then ends the call.
Kali hugs Ved, telling him he may spend time with Aarti if he wishes, but sets a condition: Aarti must not go to court to invalidate their marriage or involve Ved in Aman’s murder case. Ved is surprised but agrees and leaves. Kali feels confident that Ved will prevent Aarti from going to court, and once her marriage is officially registered, no one will be able to separate them.
Meanwhile, Aarti confides in Anjali about her love for Ved and expresses frustration over Padma telling Ved about her feelings. Padma notices Aarti’s suffering and comments on it, leading to a tense exchange between them.
Precap: Ved approaches Aarti, noticing her playing with the snowball he had given her. He reminds her that he was the one who gave it to her. Aarti questions why he has come and points out that he is already married to someone else. Ved explains that Kali sent him and tells Aarti that Kali agreed to step aside, but only if Aarti fulfills a certain condition.
Raghav commends Kali’s clever plan, and Kali reveals that this strategy will accomplish three goals at once. Curious, Aarti asks Ved about the condition. He informs her that she must withdraw from the case and bury all the files she holds against him.
