Pratap taunts Kali, mocking her belief that she has become a Rajyavanshi daughter-in-law just because Aarti conducted her marriage to Ved. He turns to Ved, questioning his silence and reminding him that he doesn’t love Kali, so he shouldn’t defend her. Pratap then orders his goons to drag Kali away. Despite her struggles, they forcefully take her as Sonal begs Pratap and Uday to stop—but they remain cold-hearted.
Aarti steps in, demanding Kali’s release. When the goons challenge her authority, she declares, “I am the one who performed Kali’s kanyadaan!” A scuffle breaks out, and as one goon tries to attack Aarti from behind, Ved springs into action. He brutally thrashes the attacker and warns everyone, “Don’t dare touch her—she is my true love!”
Aarti, deeply moved, asks Ved if he truly loves her. Placing Kali’s hand in his, she makes him swear on her name to protect Kali. Ved agrees but clarifies, “I will guard her, but she will never be my wife. Only you hold that place in my heart.” Aarti then solemnly performs Kali’s gruhpravesh into the Rajyavanshi mansion before silently walking away.
Later, Ved stands before Aarti’s portrait and asks Sonal for sindoor. Applying it to the picture, he declares to Kali, “You may stay here, but you will never be my wife. Aarti is—and always will be—my life partner.”
Meanwhile, Chandrabhan arrives at the mansion and questions Uday about the runaway girl and the reporter who helped her. Uday reveals that the girl is Kali, and Ved married her with the reporter’s (Aarti’s) assistance. Chandrabhan then receives a shocking call from Yuvraj—”Aarti, Anjali’s daughter, was supposed to wed today!”
Stunned, Chandrabhan exclaims, “Aarti… Anjali’s daughter? But she was said to have died at birth!” When Uday confirms that Ved was indeed set to marry Aarti, Chandrabhan realizes the truth—Aarti is alive, and the game has just begun.
Precap: Padma suggests to Aarti that they should tell the truth—that the sindoor was fake and Ved and Kali’s marriage isn’t legally valid. However, Aarti firmly refuses and asks Padma if she knows who she saw at the Rajyavanshi mansion. When Padma asks who it was, Aarti replies, “Chandrabhan Thakur.”
