Anjali tells Raghav that Yuvraj is mistreating Mehek, but Raghav dismisses her immediately. He warns her not to speak against his son-in-law and tells Mehek to simply adjust to her married life and her in-laws. Anjali counters that women, too, have self-respect and shouldn’t be expected to silently endure mistreatment. Sadika interrupts, telling Anjali to stop creating drama and says she can stay back if she wants. Everyone leaves, and Anjali heads inside.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj threatens Mehek, warning her not to reveal to anyone that he doesn’t love her or that his family harasses her. He orders her to keep up a fake smile and walks away.
Anjali finds Mehek crying and consoles her. She hands Mehek a necklace, asking her to wear it and get ready. She reminds her that she
Mehek says that everyone in the house misunderstands Anjali, but in truth, Anjali is the kindest. Anjali asks her to keep smiling and says they should go for the aarti and haldi ceremony. When they turn, they find Kavya standing there. Mehek asks what she is doing. Kavya replies that she came to enjoy the “haldi drama.” Mehek reminds her that she snatched the necklace earlier but never wore it. Kavya says it’s her choice and she doesn’t want Mehek wearing any jewellery. She demands to know where Mehek got another necklace. Anjali tells her she gifted it to her Nanand and warns Kavya to behave. She leaves with Mehek. Kavya vows to ruin Mehek’s life by turning Yuvraj against her and ominously declares that although today is the haldi ritual, it will soon turn into bloodshed.
At the Rajput house, the haldi ceremony begins with grandeur. The ladies smear haldi on Ved, and the men cheer and celebrate. Aarti participates happily. Kali watches from afar with tears in her eyes. Ved dances with the men, while Aarti dances with the women.
Sadika takes haldi to Kali and applies some to her, reminding her that she didn’t get these rituals last time because her marriage to Ved was fake, with fake sindoor. She says she won’t reveal that to anyone. Sadika taunts that Anjali will soon arrive with a court order, and they’ll see whether she comes as Aarti’s mother or as an advocate. She tells Kali to apply haldi. Kali smears haldi on Sadika’s face and boldly declares that Ved belongs to her alone. She says she loves him deeply and will become his bride—she, not Aarti, will marry him. Kali storms off, leaving Sadika thinking that the marriage will not happen—whether she stops it, Anjali does, or Gini does.
Gini then calls Anjali. When Anjali asks why, Gini complains that her own haldi ceremony never happened properly and only the sindoor ritual took place. She says everything is happening for Aarti today and vows to stop the wedding. She threatens that she will spill blood in the Rajput house and cuts the call.
Sanya asks Anjali what happened. Anjali reveals that Rani Majumdar called her—once the daughter-in-law of the Rajput family, now bent on destroying them—and says that Abhay is responsible for her revenge.
Meanwhile, Kavya complains to Rati that Mehek embarrassed her by going to the Rajput house without a necklace and that Anjali put jewellery on her. Kavya says she wants that necklace from Mehek. Rati asks her to stop behaving like this. Yuvraj arrives and starts criticizing Mehek loudly.
Mehek asks him why he is treating her this way, reminding him how much he used to love her. Kavya adds fuel to the fire with snide remarks. Rati tries to diffuse the situation by sending Kavya to freshen up. Kavya says the geyser isn’t working and she has told Mehek to heat water. Mehek agrees to do so. Yuvraj also demands hot water. Mehek nods and leaves.
Anjali calls Mehek and asks whether she spoke to Yuvraj. Mehek says he will tell her everything but asks for more time. Anjali sternly says she only has until evening. Mehek agrees.
Elsewhere, Gini calls Yuvraj and warns him that Anjali must not find Padma’s location. She says that if Anjali learns the truth, he will die. Mehek brings the hot water to Kavya, who complains that it isn’t hot enough and cruelly forces Mehek’s hand into the boiling water. Mehek screams in pain. Kavya raises her hand to slap her, but Rati stops her. Rati asks Mehek what happened, but Mehek stays silent and leaves. Rati scolds Kavya, but Kavya vows to torture Mehek as revenge against the Rajput family.
Rati tells Yuvraj to go take care of Mehek. Yuvraj goes to Mehek only to yell at her for screaming. She asks how she could have stayed silent. Mehek asks where Padma is and warns him that Anjali might put him in jail. Yuvraj accuses her of wanting him in jail so she can enjoy with someone else. Mehek slaps him. Kavya provokes Yuvraj to hit her back.
At that moment, Anjali calls again. She asks Mehek whether Yuvraj told her anything. Mehek says he didn’t. Yuvraj snatches the phone and tells Anjali to stay out of the case. He threatens that if she tries to save Padma, he will kill Mehek. He hangs up the call.
On Anjali’s side, Ved overhears the entire conversation. Ved arrives at Thakur Mansion and asks Rati where Yuvraj is. Yuvraj steps forward and says he is right there.
Precap: Aarti confronts Anjali, asking what she has done, because Ved has gone to Damodar’s hideout to rescue Padma. Just then, Gini calls Anjali, warning that Ved is on his way and she will send his dead body back—just like she did with Aman. Anjali firmly replies that she will not let that happen.
