During the engagement ceremony, Ravi observes the crowd carefully and tells Anjali that the person who hired him to hit Aman’s car is not present at the event. Raghav overhears this and confronts Anjali, asking if she heard what Ravi said. He warns her that she will now face a humiliation unlike anything she has ever experienced before. Turning to Aarti, Raghav instructs her to show Anjali the way out, warning that if she doesn’t, Anjali will end up ruining her life.
Aarti approaches Anjali with anger and pain, telling her to leave her life forever and declaring that she doesn’t even want Anjali’s shadow near her. Ganesh steps forward, holds Anjali’s hand, and sternly tells her to leave, echoing Aarti’s words that even her shadow shouldn’t fall upon Aarti’s life.
Later, Anjali tries to piece together the mystery, questioning why Ravi couldn’t identify the real mastermind if he had seen everyone clearly. Gaurav finds Anjali in despair and asks if Aarti has misunderstood her. Anjali confirms it, and Gaurav reassures her that everything will be fine. She then requests him to arrange the engagement footage, hoping it might reveal the truth, and Gaurav agrees to help.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj grows nervous as he recalls his dealings with Ravi. When Mehek finds him upstairs, she asks why he’s there when chaos has erupted downstairs. Yuvraj claims he only came to drink water and casually asks what happened. Mehek informs him that Anjali has ruined Aarti’s life before leaving. Once alone, Yuvraj panics, realizing Ravi could expose him, and decides to contact Chandraman to have Ravi eliminated since he had personally paid him.
Anjali returns home visibly shaken. Kali immediately questions her about the engagement, asking if Aarti and Ved’s ceremony was stopped. When Anjali remains silent, Kali assumes it wasn’t and scolds her harshly, saying she should have known that blood is thicker than water. She accuses Anjali of failing her daughter and sarcastically asks if she went to bless the couple instead. Anjali loses her patience and tells Kali to be quiet, revealing that the engagement didn’t happen — and that Kali’s lies are the reason Aarti’s dreams are shattered. She warns Kali that if she discovers more deceit, she will ensure Kali ends up in jail.
Padma arrives and mocks Anjali, sarcastically congratulating her for ruining Aarti’s wedding. She reminds Anjali that she had once told her Ved and Kali’s marriage was fake, but Anjali refused to believe her. Soon after, Ganesh joins in, condemning Anjali and saying that Aarti now feels ashamed to call her mother. He painfully reminds Anjali how much Aarti once loved and cared for her as though she were the mother instead.
Precap: Ganesh notices a few delivery men bringing a refrigerator into the house and immediately questions them about who they are and what they’re delivering. Aarti arrives and explains to him that it’s a refrigerator — a Diwali gift she has bought for him.
Just then, Anjali walks in and asks Ved about the new refrigerator. Ved replies that it’s a Diwali gift. Hearing this, Anjali pointedly asks Aarti if she’s trying to bribe her poor grandfather with gifts.
