Ved warmly hugs Aarti and surprises her with a diamond necklace. When Aarti asks if the necklace is meant for her, Ved smiles and confirms that it is. He adds that he has another special gift for her, but keeps it a surprise. Aarti thanks him, saying she doesn’t need any of these luxuries—she only wants him in her life. Ved, touched by her words, hugs her again lovingly.
Meanwhile, the Rajput family’s driver arrives at the Awasti house carrying numerous gifts. Curious, Anjali and Padma ask who sent them. The driver receives a call from Sadhika and hands the phone to Anjali. Speaking to her, Sadhika asks if Anjali received the Diwali gifts—clothes and jewelry—sent from their side. Sadhika taunts Anjali, saying she knows Anjali will probably return them again like last time, and even mocks her by saying she’s not worthy of being called a mother. Offended, Anjali asks if Sadhika called only to insult her. Ignoring the question, Sadhika instructs Anjali to wear the clothes and jewelry she sent if she wishes to attend the engagement ceremony, then abruptly ends the call.
Hurt but resolute, Anjali orders the driver to take all the gifts back, saying she doesn’t accept charity. Padma intervenes, asking Anjali to let Ganesh attend the engagement since he raised Aarti. She insists that Anjali shouldn’t spoil the occasion. Padma takes the suit meant for Ganesh and leaves. Anjali repeats her instruction to return the remaining gifts and tells the driver to inform Sadhika of her refusal. The driver agrees and departs.
At the Rajput mansion, Raghav and Abhay warmly greet the guests arriving for Diwali and Ved and Aarti’s engagement celebration. Vaibhav informs Raghav that Gaurav and Nivedita won’t attend, believing the engagement is wrong. Raghav reacts sharply, dismissing their opinion and continues welcoming the guests.
When guests inquire about his daughter-in-law Anjali, Raghav assures them that she’ll arrive soon. At that moment, Ganesh enters the mansion. Raghav greets him courteously and even poses for a photograph with him. However, noticing Ganesh’s simple attire, Raghav questions why he didn’t wear the clothes that were sent. Ganesh firmly replies that he refuses to accept anything from his in-laws’ family. He adds that if they don’t want him there, he will leave. Raghav, attempting to stay calm, tells him there’s no need to go. Ganesh mocks Raghav, reminding him how he once said that dogs, beggars, and Awastis weren’t welcome in his house, yet now he greets him politely. Raghav responds that today is his granddaughter’s engagement and he doesn’t wish to argue. Ganesh gives a biting remark but stays.
As the guests ask for the bride and groom, Aarti descends the stairs gracefully, followed shortly by Ved. The Rajput family and guests join together, dancing joyfully to celebratory music.
Elsewhere, Anjali tells Pankaj that everyone will be attending Ved and Aarti’s pre-engagement function. She plans to take Ravi there so he can identify the person who hired him for the attack, as he has seen the culprit’s face though he doesn’t know the name. Padma urges Anjali not to go, reminding her that it’s her daughter Aarti’s special day. But Anjali stands firm, saying her only mission in life is to find her husband Aman’s killer and bring him to justice. She also insists that Ved’s marital status remains unproven.
Kali interjects, claiming that Ved is indeed married, and warns that if the engagement proceeds, it will prove Anjali isn’t serious about her duty as an officer. Furious, Anjali lashes out, demanding to know who Kali is to question her integrity. She warns that if she ever finds out Kali was involved in the attempt on Aarti’s life, she will not spare her. Kali gives a cold response, and the confrontation ends with Anjali and Pankaj leaving determinedly for the event, setting the stage for more revelations to unfold.
Precap: Anjali arrives at Ved and Aarti’s pre-engagement ceremony with Ravi and suddenly interrupts the celebration. The guests fall silent as Raghav, visibly annoyed, asks Anjali what is happening. Anjali firmly announces that Ravi is the man responsible for the accident that injured her and killed Aman. She adds that Ravi will identify the person who ordered him to commit the crime, as that person is present at the venue. Hearing this, Yuvraj grows tense and quickly tries to hide from Ravi’s sight.
