Sunita, faced by Aarti (who is disguised as Anjali), is questioned about why she told the Rajput family that Aarti was dead when she was born. Sunita admits that Ganesh instructed her to lie because, if others found out Aarti was alive, Anjali’s enemies might try to harm her. Sunita insists this is all she knows and tries to leave, but Aarti stops her and reveals her true identity: she is not Anjali, but Aarti, Anjali’s daughter. Aarti asks Sunita for her assistance in unraveling the mystery and urges Sunita to help her when the moment comes. Aarti then departs with Pradeep.
When Ganesh returns home, he sees Aarti still disguised as Anjali and believes Anjali has recovered. Excited, he gathers Stepney, Pradeep, and Padma to share the news. Ganesh asks if Anjali can speak now, but
Ganesh recalls an incident from 21 years ago in the hospital: overhearing Yuvraj telling Chandraman that Anjali had slipped into a coma and Aman had died. Ganesh confesses that he instructed Sunita to lie about Aarti’s death out of concern for Aarti’s safety. He reveals that after this, a mysterious person came to the hospital to inquire about Aarti. Sunita confirms that she told this person Aarti was dead. When Aarti asks Ganesh if he saw the inquirer, he says he only heard his voice, confirms it belonged to a man, and believes he could recognize it again. Determined, Aarti decides to find this man.
Meanwhile, Aarti receives a call from Ved. He tells her that, though it’s his wedding night, he cannot celebrate because he loves only Aarti. Aarti reminds him he is already married and encourages him to honor his wife, Kali, making him swear not to celebrate his first night with anyone but Aarti. Ved refuses, saying he will never spend his first night with anyone except Aarti before ending the call.
Kali asks Ved why he is abandoning her on their wedding night. Ved responds coldly, stating her fault is simply that she is not Aarti. Later, Ved confides in his mother’s photo that he will only consummate his marriage with his beloved Aarti.
Devastated, Kali calls Aarti, lamenting how her husband’s rejection is the deepest insult possible and even suggests it would be better to be in a brothel than bear such shame. Aarti reassures Kali, asking for time and promises that Ved will eventually accept her as his wife.
Precap: Yuvraj’s goons attack Anjali, but Aarti intervenes and saves her. She confronts the goons, demanding to know who sent them, and they claim it was the Rajput family. Watching from a distance, Yuvraj smirks, believing this will pit Aarti against the Rajput family, giving him the perfect chance to strike from the shadows.
