Ganesh compliments Anjali’s cooking over the phone to Aarti and promises to bring gajar ka halwa and gulab jamun for her at the pre-engagement. Aarti accepts. When Anjali enters, Padma signals that she’s behind Ganesh. Anjali asks who he’s speaking with; Ganesh lies that he’s on a call with bank officials. Aarti plays along in a mock bank-employee voice, prompting Ganesh to cut the call and quip that he doesn’t need a loan.

Anjali announces that dinner is ready; Ganesh asks her to make gajar ka halwa and gulab jamun, which she agrees to. Later he praises Aarti to Padma for taking the hint during the call. Anjali returns, notices Ganesh laughing, but he brushes it off and she leaves.

Kali phones Aarti, asking to meet face-to-face and claim she wants to return everything

Aarti gave her, insisting that her marriage to Ved was fake and that Ved doesn’t belong to Aarti. Aarti agrees to meet, unaware Kali intends to trap her. Padma questions Kali about the call, but Kali dismisses her and walks away.

Yuvraj calls Anjali, warning that Aarti is in danger and naming Kali as the threat; he gives Aarti’s location and hangs up. Alarmed, Anjali tells Padma she’s going to rescue Aarti, declaring that as Aarti’s mother she won’t let harm come to her. She rushes out.

At the meeting, Kali hands Aarti jewelry and a paper claiming Ved isn’t her husband. As Kali pretends to weep, Aarti stops her and is then ambushed by goons—Aarti fights back. Yuvraj waits nearby; Anjali arrives, tackles a gunman aimed at Aarti, and is nearly shot when Yuvraj’s henchman misses. Anjali overpowers him and sees Aarti fighting fiercely, thinking she’s like her.

Pankaj arrives, arrests the goons, and asks who is behind the attack—Thakur, Rajput, or Rajyavanshi. Anjali insists on speaking to Ravi, the driver, so she can uncover who killed her husband and make them pay. Pankaj agrees.

Precap: The Rajput and Rajyavanshi families gather to celebrate Ved and Aarti’s pre-engagement ceremony. Anjali tells Pankaj that everyone will be present for the event. Aarti adds that they plan to bring Ravi along so he can observe everyone, since he may not know the name of the person who hired him, but he will recognize the face.

Padma pleads with Anjali not to attend, reminding her that it is Aarti and Ved’s special day and that Aarti is her daughter. Anjali firmly responds that her sole mission is to uncover her husband Aman’s murderer and ensure that the culprit is brought to justice, regardless of the occasion.
