Gini approaches Padma, who is tied up, and pulls down the cloth covering her mouth. Padma pleads with Gini to let her go, warning that if she doesn’t, Anjali will surely stop Ved and Aarti’s wedding. Desperate, Padma begs for her freedom. Gini introduces herself as Rani Mojumdar, the wife of Damodar Mojumdar, and asks Padma if she truly doesn’t know who that is. Gini declares that the entire underworld trembles at Damodar’s name, and she is the one who runs his empire. With a chilling tone, Gini mocks Padma, saying that although she’s a bit old, there are still buyers interested in her. Outraged, Padma tells Gini she despises her. Gini laughs it off and points out that everyone hates her — even Abhay. She reminds Padma that Abhay always loved Anjali, not her, and sneers as she says it.
Meanwhile, Anjali asks Aarti and Ved what they want from her. Ved replies that he wants the phone number Gini used to call Anjali. Aarti pleads with Anjali, saying she deeply wishes to marry Ved and that finding Padma is the only way their marriage can happen. Anjali dismisses them both, saying they lack the ability to find Padma and that she will handle it herself. Ved, frustrated, remarks that he has never seen a daughter begging her own mother for marriage. Anjali responds firmly that, regardless of what he or the Rajput family thinks, she is Aarti’s mother and she loves her dearly. Aarti is moved, and Kali, secretly listening nearby, overhears the entire exchange.
Later, Anjali calls Gini. The two confront each other over the phone — Gini mocks Anjali, while Anjali accuses Gini of becoming a criminal. Gini retorts that she’s not a criminal but Rani Mojumdar, wife of the most feared man in the region. She warns Anjali that she will never be able to find Padma alive — only her body.
Aarti then snatches the phone from Anjali and addresses Gini as her Mausi (aunt). Gini cruelly denies the relation, saying she has no ties to her. She accuses Anjali of having an illicit affair with Abhay, claiming that’s what destroyed her own marriage. In a chilling threat, she says she will kill Aarti so that Anjali will live alone, just as she has. After the call, Gini instructs her henchman to kill Padma if she attempts to escape.
At the Rajput house, Anjali is haunted by Gini’s words. Sanya arrives and brings her downstairs, where the entire family sings and celebrates together, unaware of the storm looming ahead.
Meanwhile, Gini stares at her mangalsutra and recalls how Abhay once put it around her neck. She thinks of how she lived with him, yet he never accepted her love because his heart always belonged to Anjali. Looking at the sindoor, she remembers him filling her hairline — then lets it fall deliberately, laughing bitterly at her fate.
Unable to control her emotions, Gini calls Abhay. She taunts him, asking if he still loves Anjali. Abhay, confused and annoyed, demands to know who’s speaking. Gini challenges him directly — saying he threw his wife out of his home to be with Anjali. Abhay again asks who she is, and Gini replies that she is Rani Mojumdar. When she questions whether he still loves Anjali, Abhay admits that he does. Anjali overhears this confession, dropping a tray of juice and fruits in shock. She confronts Abhay, saying those three words have destroyed both their lives. But Abhay calmly replies that his words are the truth.
Taking the phone from him, Anjali demands to know who’s on the line. Gini answers, and Anjali instantly recognizes her voice — Gini. Abhay is stunned to learn that Rani Mojumdar and Gini are the same person. Speaking again to Abhay, Gini says that while the world sees her as Rani Mojumdar, the heart within her is still Gini — the woman who loved him. She vows to ruin the entire Rajput family. Abhay tries to reason with her, but she begs him to at least lie once and say he loves her. Abhay refuses, repeating that his heart belongs only to Anjali.
Aarti overhears everything and confronts Abhay. He brushes it off as nothing and leaves. Hurt and confused, Aarti tells Anjali that she now believes the rumors — everyone once said Gini left because of Abhay’s affair with her, and now it seems true. Anjali tries to explain that this is all a lie, but Raghav steps in, confirming that it is indeed the truth.
Precap: Aarti pleads with Ved to marry her as soon as possible and take her away, saying she cannot bear to live with Anjali any longer. She breaks down and accuses Anjali of being responsible for her father Aman’s death. Meanwhile, Gini calls Anjali and warns that she will never let Aarti and Ved’s wedding take place. Anjali calmly replies that Gini won’t be able to stop their marriage no matter what she does.
