Ved arrives at the café and calls Aarti, asking where she is. Aarti playfully tells him to find her, hinting that she’s wearing his favorite color. Ved spots a girl in a yellow dress, mistakes her for Aarti, and apologizes after realizing it isn’t her. Aarti watches and laughs.
When Ved finally sees her, he’s captivated by her presence. He compliments her smile, removes her spectacles, and tells her she looks great before gently putting them back. They sit together, both admitting they feel nervous.
Ved then tells Aarti he has something important to say. He calls for the waiter, gathers everyone’s attention, and announces that he’s about to propose for the first time. Coincidentally, Abhay arrives at the café for a meeting. As someone points out the scene to him, Abhay sees Ved but can’t see Aarti clearly.
Ved surprises Aarti by placing a diamond necklace around her neck, then gets down on one knee and proposes with a rose. Aarti accepts, saying she loves him too.
Just then, Ved gets a call from Uday, who questions his whereabouts. Ved happily shares that he’s with Aarti, gave her a diamond necklace, and that it felt like her Mu Dikhai. Uday warns Ved not to love Aarti too deeply, reminding him of the plan to leave her. Ved firmly replies that Aarti will not go anywhere and will become their family’s daughter-in-law. Uday disagrees and ends the call.
Aarti senses something and asks Ved if all is well. He assures her it is and gently asks if he can hug her. She agrees.
Precap: Aarti tells Laal that while he’s focused only on TRPs, she’s focused on exposing the real criminals, and she sharply comments on his priorities. Later, Aarti and Kali are walking down the road when Kali spots goons aiming a gun at Aarti. She quickly alerts her, and Aarti manages to dodge the bullet and fights the attackers off. Meanwhile, Ved asks Aarti if he should come to her. Aarti replies with a smile, telling him to come with a Baraat to take her home.
