Raghav proudly tells Kali that Aarti is his granddaughter and assures her that she will always get whatever she desires. Mehek, wanting the mood light and festive, asks everyone to set aside their tensions and enjoy the occasion. The atmosphere brightens as the family begins dancing, with Aarti and Mehek stealing the show with a graceful performance at Mehek and Yuvraj’s haldi. Kavya joins in, pulling Mehek into the dance, and even Yuvraj dances happily with her. Amid the festivities, Aarti suddenly spots Ved and is left stunned, while Kali silently observes their reaction. Overwhelmed, Aarti quickly leaves.
As the ceremony continues, family members apply haldi to Mehek and Yuvraj. Kali secretly signals Sadika, who then asks Aarti to do the honors next. But just as Aarti moves forward, someone deliberately pushes her, causing her to smear haldi on Ved instead. Kali seizes the moment, declaring that Aarti can only marry Ved if she agrees to her conditions and withdraws all the pending cases. Disgusted, Aarti retorts that she regrets ever saving Kali and calls out her twisted thinking. Though she tries to walk away, the family members pressure her to give in, urging her to drop the cases for Ved’s sake. They reveal that even Raghav is willing to bring Anjali back home if she complies. Ved, too, pleads with Aarti to save him. Torn, Aarti quietly leaves without giving in to their demands.
Kali, seething with rage, smashes the decorations, vowing that she will never let anyone else claim Ved. Uday and Sonal remind her that this is all part of their bigger plan and beg her to control her temper. Shaken, Kali collapses, admitting her obsession with Ved and declaring he belongs only to her. Meanwhile, Aarti walks away lost in thought, confessing to herself that she does love Ved but cannot ignore that he is already someone else’s husband.
When Aarti reaches home, she finds Pankaj waiting. Suspicious, she questions his presence, and he bluntly tells her that he is searching for the fearless reporter she once was—the same woman who exposed a trafficking ring connected to Kali. He challenges her motives, saying it no longer feels like she is Anjali’s daughter, nor does she seem determined to catch her father’s murderer. Instead, he accuses her of being more invested in making Anjali the Rajput family’s daughter-in-law. Aarti defends herself, insisting that she still wants justice for her father. Pankaj argues it is impossible, as once she enters the Rajput mansion, she will be pressured to drop the cases, after which Raghav will push her to marry Ved. Confused, Aarti demands to know what he means.
At that moment, Ved arrives, admitting that Pankaj is right. He opens his heart to Aarti, confessing that she is his love and he is hers. He begs her to withdraw the case, assuring her that once they are together, Kali will leave him alone and they can live happily. Ved warns Pankaj to drop the matter of the 21-year-old case and stop interfering. He then turns to Aarti, leaving the choice in her hands—either stand with Pankaj and pursue her father’s killer or trust in him and build a future together.
Before leaving, Pankaj reminds Aarti that Ved is correct but insists she must decide where her loyalty lies—justice or love. After he exits, Ved reassures her once more, promising to take her to Yuvraj’s baraat and urging her to choose a life with him, free from Kali’s torment. Unseen, Kali watches everything unfold from a distance, burning with jealousy and vowing that she will never let Ved slip from her grasp.
Precap: Bhajan phones Aarti, calling himself her well-wisher, and informs her that her father’s murderer will be at the baraat before abruptly cutting the call. Meanwhile, Kali mutters to herself that Aarti will be attacked during the baraat and, if she survives, she will personally be there to welcome her. As the baraat proceeds, goons attack Aarti, and Ved rushes to protect her.
