Before leaving for court, Anjali informs Gaurav that she will stop Bhajan from maligning Raghav’s reputation. Seeing Gaurav in tears over Raghav’s condition, Nivedita questions his distress, to which Gaurav responds emotionally, unable to bear Raghav’s suffering.
In court, Bhajan accuses Raghav of attempting to murder Padma, presenting Pankaj as an eyewitness. Pankaj testifies that he saw Raghav stab Padma before stepping down.
When the defense lawyer prepares to argue, Anjali interrupts, insisting the case is too complex for them. Despite the lawyer’s resistance, Aman and Ganesh support Anjali, assuring her fees will be covered. However, Raghav refuses representation and chooses to defend himself, which the judge allows.
Raghav explains that Padma, like a daughter to him, had invited him to her wedding. Bhajan counters, questioning why Raghav didn’t defend Padma during her molestation case, leaving Raghav silent. Bhajan then calls Rupa Rani, who condemns Raghav, claiming he endangers women and demanding punishment.
Anjali steps in, questioning Rupa Rani’s motives. She exposes that Rupa visited Padma only once or twice in six years, proving she cared more about money than Padma’s well-being. Anjali further discredits Rupa’s testimony, suggesting Bhajan coached her, leading Rupa to fall silent.
Anjali requests Raghav’s phone, revealing she recorded a crucial call between Raghav and Padma. She then recalls Pankaj, challenging his testimony. When Pankaj insists he saw Raghav with a knife, Anjali presses him—did he actually witness the stabbing? Pankaj’s silence speaks volumes.
Precap: The judge approves Anjali’s request and grants bail to Raghav. Raghav expresses his gratitude to Anjali, acknowledging that even he might not have pleaded as convincingly to secure his release. He then exits the courtroom. Ganesh observes Anjali’s eyes welling up and asks her the reason. She responds that she feels deep sympathy for Raghav. Ganesh comforts her, saying that one day Raghav will seek her out—but for now, their focus must be on saving him. Anjali replies that before that, she needs to save someone else. Meanwhile, in Padma’s hospital room, a disguised goon posing as a compounder sneaks in and prepares to smother her with a pillow.

How can Anjali support a corrupt lawyer who gets off molesters and murderers for money? Rhagav should go to prison along with Bhajan and good riddance. I thought this serial was about Anjali and Aman and her defence of women, but irritating Rhagav dominates everything.
I think the series is about fighting injustice irrespective of whether it is a man or woman. Even men face injustices and need legal support. I agree Raghav is a corrupt lawyer but the character has progressed and the case against him is a frame up so why should he pay for a crime he has not committed!!! That ideally will be an injustice to him irrespective of his past misdeeds. I would be worried if she is fighting for him when he has committed the crime in issue.
