Raghav assures Chandrabhan over the phone that Yuvraj will become the family’s son-in-law and then joins the family at the dining table. Anjali arrives to serve food, and the family greets her. She reveals that she and Aman went on a date but were attacked by Yuvraj’s goons, whom she had to fight off. She then mocks the Rajput family, sarcastically praising Yuvraj’s questionable background—mentioning his fake degree and his descent into alcohol after passing 12th grade.
Despite her accusations, the Rajputs defend Yuvraj, calling him their future son-in-law. Anjali insists Mehek is being used as a pawn in Raghav’s ego battle, to which Raghav admits and says he’s determined to win. Ginni urges Anjali to stop as it will upset Mehek, but Anjali sarcastically adds Mehek may be happy marrying Yuvraj, while everyone ignores Padma—who was molested by Yuvraj. Raghav downplays it as a minor incident, but Anjali disagrees, warning that Mehek will suffer mentally and storms off.
The family starts to reconsider Yuvraj after hearing Anjali’s words, but Mehek stands firm, declaring her love for Yuvraj and her decision to marry him. Raghav later tells Ginni that Anjali is planning something and instructs her to spy on Anjali if she wants to secure her relationship with Abhay. Ginni agrees.
The next day, Anjali prepares to go to court. Raghav questions her and warns her to stay away from Padma’s case. Ginni backs Raghav and tells Anjali to comply since Yuvraj is becoming their son-in-law. Anjali snaps back, accusing Ginni of changing like a chameleon. Ginni says she only wants to be part of the Rajput family, no matter what Anjali thinks.
Raghav calls Mehek and tells her to stop Anjali. Mehek pleads with Anjali to drop Padma’s case because Yuvraj is involved, but Anjali firmly replies that in court, she’s not just family—she’s Advocate Anjali Awasthi.

I knew Ginni was selfish but what is wrong with Mehek. Her character change does not make sense.
