Kavya shows Chandraman the food Mehek prepared and mocks its taste. She sarcastically asks Mehek if she would even dare to eat what she has cooked. Mehek replies that she tried her best, but Kavya continues to taunt her, telling her to cook properly if she wants to stay in the house. Hurt, Mehek asks the Thakur family why they are insulting her, reminding them that she is the daughter-in-law of the Rajput family. Kavya retorts that being a Rajput daughter-in-law doesn’t mean they will treat her like royalty. She orders Mehek back to the kitchen to redo the meal.
Yuvraj joins in, ridiculing Mehek and instructing her to make good coffee first. When she serves it, he throws it on her face, humiliating her. Mehek, deeply hurt, says she has never been treated like this and threatens
Elsewhere, Bhajan tells Raghav that he couldn’t arrange bail for the Rajvanshi family. Furious, Raghav grabs Bhajan by the collar but then restrains himself, thinking that ever since Anjali entered his life, only misfortune has followed.
At the Thakur mansion, Mehek calls Raghav in tears, telling him that Yuvraj threw coffee on her and that she is being mistreated. Raghav, instead of consoling her, tells her to stop complaining and learn to adjust as a Thakur daughter-in-law. He reminds her that compromise is part of marriage and cuts the call, leaving Mehek shattered.
When Mehek accuses the Thakur family of being behind Padma’s kidnapping and Aman’s murder, Yuvraj raises his hand to hit her. Rati steps in and warns them that if they continue to harass Mehek, she will file a domestic violence case against the family. Chandraman asks who her lawyer is, and Rati boldly replies, “Advocate Anjali Awasthi.”
Meanwhile, Anjali confronts Raghav for his inaction. She vows to uncover the truth behind the kidnapping, starting with the Rajput family. Enraged, Raghav calls her “Bahu,” but Anjali firmly declares that she is no one’s daughter-in-law anymore—only Advocate Anjali Awasthi. Aarti interrupts, accusing Anjali of neglecting her role as a mother. Anjali painfully replies that she is a mother, but one who has lost her daughter. She tells Aarti she will only understand her pain when she becomes a mother herself and criticizes her for supporting criminals and planning to marry a married man. Anjali leaves, furious and heartbroken.
Raghav, alarmed, instructs Abhay and Bhajan to stop Anjali at any cost before she drags the Rajvanshi family to court. Bhajan decides the only way to silence her is to kill her.
When Anjali returns home, Ganesh confronts her, accusing her of ruining Aarti’s in-laws’ reputation by jailing the Rajvanshis. Anjali is shocked and asks who misled him. Ved steps forward, admitting he told Ganesh everything and adding that Anjali stopped his wedding to Aarti. Aarti coldly tells Ved that he’s mistaken—she has no mother. She lashes out at Anjali, accusing her of never fulfilling her duties as a mother and vows to free the Rajvanshi family and marry Ved despite her objections. She declares herself an orphan and storms out.
Ganesh, heartbroken, asks Anjali to swear that she will act as a true mother to Aarti and ensure she never feels abandoned again. Anjali promises but insists she will also remain a lawyer who upholds justice. She leaves determined.
As Anjali walks out of the basti, a goon watches her and calls Bhajan, who orders him coldly, “Kill her.”
Precap: Aarti invites Anjali to attend her wedding. Anjali agrees, but only on one condition — Ved must first prove that his marriage with Kali never took place. Aarti confidently accepts Anjali’s challenge, determined to go ahead with the wedding. Meanwhile, Raghav believes that this marriage should indeed happen.
