Adventures of Ragini(oneshot)by Kyvalya
Note: In this OS Ragini is Sanskar’s sister. Swara and Sanskar are married and are also having a baby girl…Sara. Laksh is Swara’s brother and he stays with SwaSan in Delhi as his workplace is nearby. Laksh also owns a house in Kolkata as it is his and Swara’s hometown. Laksh and Ragini are not married yet but they love eachother soo much but never showed or confessed. Ragini is a journalist by profession.
The story starts with a girl enjoying in the rain…. She is revealed to be Ragini….. She goes starts walking again….. While she was walking she sees a small child standing in the middle of the road and also sees a car which is on full speed coming towards the girl…. Ragini throws all her belongings down and runs and manages to save the girl but sprains her leg and hurts her hand which was bleeding…. People surround her…. She tells everyone that she is alright and starts moving again…
Ragini(speaking to herself) : Inn logo ko tho humne kisi tarah samjha diya ki hum theek hai… Lekin bhai ko kaise samjhaye????
And keeps thinking and walks with difficulty and finally reaches home.
At home
Swara and Laksh were playing with Sara and Sanskar was doing something on his phone.
Ragini reaches home. Sanskar notices her
Sanskar : Laado tu aagayi??? (he comes to her and holds her hand which is hurt and starts taking her along with him) Chal… Mujhe tumhe kuch dikhana hai….
Ragini(winces in pain) : aaaah!!! (But covers it) haa bhai… Chaliye na… Kya dikhana chahte hai aap hume????
Sanskar : Nahi… Abhi nahi…. Tu pehle jaa aur fresh hoja…. Iske baad mein tumhe dikhata hoon….
Ragini : ji bhai…. Hum aate hai….
Just then a drop of blood falls down and Laksh notices it….
Laksh : Khoon!!!
Sanskar : Kya??? Mein kuch samjha nahi….
Laksh : Ragini…. Ruk jaao…. Your hand is bleeding….
Sanskar : Laado…. Tu theek hai na….
Ragini puts her tongue out and turns back and looks at Sanskar…
Ragini : haa bhai! Mein theek hoon!
Sanskar(In a kind of serious tone) – Ragini!! Stop there and come here….
Ragini pouts and starts walking thinking what to do now…. Just then she slips and closes her eyes tightly…. Laksh holds her…. They share a sweet eyelock… And come back to senses when Ragini moves her eyes…
She goes to Sanskar… Sanskar takes her hand and looks at them…. Sadly….
Sanskar : Laado…. How did this happen???
Before Ragini could speak anything… Laksh(sarcastically) : what else jiju… Again she must have helped someone and got herself hurt…. Ragini stares at Laksh angrily….
Sanskar : Shonaa(Swara)…. Plzz mujhe First aid box laakar do… Aur Laado tu mujhe bata ki ye sab kaise hua….
Ragini – Bhai actually… When i was coming back from XYZ Cafe… Then i saw a girl un middle of the road and a car was abt to hit her soo i just saved her nthg else…
Sanskar – Agli baar aise mat karna… Agar tujhe kuch hogaya tho???
Ragini – mujhe kuch nahi hoga bhai…. Aap ho na humare saath….
And smiles. Sanskar also amiles and caresses her hair and face….
Sanskar then notices that her leg was swollen ans then he bandages that also…..
Swara : Ragini…..U hurt urself for the 5th time…. And ya one more time u get hurt… I wont let u step out of the house….
Ragini : Bhabhi plzzz dont say that….
And pouts… Everyone laughs seeing her like that….
Sara – Mamma bhook lag rahi hai… Chaliye na sab milkar khaate hai….
Ragini – Mujhe bhi bahut bhook lag rahi hai…..
Swara – acha baba chalo…. Khana tayyar hai….
Everyone have their dinner happily and sleep peacefully…. But they never knew what destiny has in store for them…..
Next mrng
Swara was the first one to wake up… She went and slowly did her cooking works and then went to wake up everyone…. Everyone went to their respective works and Swara was left alone and had to wait till 2 for her princess to comeback….. She was used to this solitude…. But she never felt lonely… She engages herself in cleaning or smthg….
On the other hand Ragini… Being a journalist…. Having a small camera and mike in her hands was roaming here and there to collect news… She always wanted smthg different… When she was going to some place along with Kirthi aka Kittu her frnd… Their vehicle’s tyre got punctured…. Soo Kittu was checking it… Just then…. Ragini heard some voice coming… From a closed shutter….”leave me…. Plzzz leave me!!!” It was a mans voice…. Slowly Ragini peeped into it…. And saw that…. The famous industrialist Akash Nandan was kidnapped and it was his voice…. Gautam Singh(a very big gangster) was pointing a gun at him… Ragini started recording everything….. And suddenly she hears a gunshot and sees Akash Nandan dead….. She was shocked as hell….. She took her camera and ran out…. And took Keerthi’s hand and started running… Keerthi was tensed… But Ragini was not speaking anything….
Kittu : what happened Ragini…. Why r u sooo scared???
Ragini : nthg kittu…. Mujhe bas kisi ki yaad aa rahi thi…. Aur tu mujhe promise kar ki tu phor se uss jagah apni gaadi lene ke liye nahi jayegi….
Kittu – okk… Tu phikar mat kar…
Ragini manages to smile and goes home…
At home
Sanskar and Laksh were not at home…. Ragini goes home and without speaking to anyone runs upstairs and closes the door….
Ragini – (crying) ye kya hogaya bhagwaan….. Kaash mein unhe bacha paati…
She sees the video she recorded and starts crying again…. She remembers how all that happened…. Swara was tensed as Ragini never behaved like that….. She calls Sanskar and informs him everything… Sanskar rushes home…. And finds the door still locked….
Sanskar knocks the room door…
Sanskar : Laado…. Tu theek hai na??? Plzzz baahar aaja….
Ragini (from inside) : Bhai plzz mujhe akela chod dijiye…. Plzz mein aapse request karti hoon….
Sanskar : theek hai…
SwaSan go downstairs….
Swara – aapne use vahi rehne kyu diya???
Sanskar – kyunki vo ziddi hein… Mein jitna bhi poochu vo nahi maanegi….
Swara – i wish she doesnt hurt herself….
On the other hand….
Ragini’s room
Ragini – Nahi….(wipes her tears)… Hum kamzor nahi hai…. Hum iss video ko apne channel mein dikhayenge…. Aur iske liye mein apne jaan dene ke liye bhi tayyar hoon…(determined face)
SwaSan were worried… And Sanskar was abt to knock her door again but this time Ragini opened the door before he could…. Ragini was still having that scared expression in her eyes…. Sanskar hugged her as he was worried….
Ragini : Bhai hum aapse baat karna chahte hein….
Sanskar : theek hai laado…. Tu pehle mujhe ye bata ki tu theek to hai???
Ragini : i am fine bhai….
Sanskar : chal neeche chalte hai….
They go down….
Ragini : bhai mein kuch aisa kaam karna chahti hoon…
Sanskar : kaisa kaam laado???
Ragini : bhai….. (She switches on TV and in that they show the death of Akash Nandan…… Sanskar was shocked to see that)bhai…. Inke death ka proofs mere paas hai….
Sanskar : (shocked) kya bol rahi hai tu….
Ragini : (with a determined look) haa bhai…. Aur mein unhe media ko handover karna chahti hoon…
Sanskar was shell shocked…
Sanskar : tu aise kuch nahi karegi….
Ragini : mein yehi karne wali hoon… Aur iss ke liye mein abhi jaa rahi hoon…. And i guess this is the last time i am going to speak with u….
Sanskar got teary eyes…..
Sanskar : laado… Plzzz tu aise mat kar…
Ragini : bhai ab mujhe jana hoga… Take care
She hugs him first and then goes to Swara…
Sanskar – laado ruk jaa mein bhi tere saath chalta hoon..
Ragini – bhai… Aapko meri kasam…. Aap nahi ayenge….
Sanskar breaks down and sits on the sofa shocked and Ragini leaves from there….
Ragini goes to her office and show them that evidence…. And ragini was the one who told everything abt that and then even showed the proofs… It was recorded and then was telecasted…
On the other hand…. Sanskar was still numb and Swara was crying… Just then Laksh reaches home and sees them like that…. Laksh goes to Sanskar…
Laksh : jiju…. Kya hua???
Sanskar tell him everything….
Laksh : jiju… Mein launga ragini ko vaapis vo bhi surakshit….
Just then the program(which ragini recorded) comes on tv shocking eveyone….
Laksh : jiju…. Aap plzz iss baar meri baat suniye… Mere paas ek plan hai…
Sanskar looks at him.
Laksh : now itself u plzz take Dii and Sara to Kolkata and here are the house keys… And i will book flight tickets for u ppl….
He sends them to Kolkata and assures Sanskar to bring back Ragini safe…. He then goes to Ragini’s office…. He was shocked to see that scenario…. All the papers were scattered…. People were injured and all…. He rushes down without thinking anything… And finds few goons taking Ragini along with them…. He fights with them and even hits Gautam Singh…. He takes Ragini along with him and takes her to the railway station…. And they board a train to Kolkata…. Ragini was crying like anything….
Ragini : why did u do this??? That Gautam shud get punished for what he has done….
Laksh : he will be punished….
Ragini keeps on crying and sleeps on his shoulders and he too sleeps….. They reach Kolkata…. Just then he wakes up and finds Gautam Singh in front of him he wakes up suddenly and hits Gautam…. But Gautam puts him at gunpoint and Laksh puts his hands up…. Gautam laughs victoriously….
Gautam : (to ragini) i am killing him…. An then will kill u also… He says this and suddenly shoots Ragini in her stomach…. Laksh gets shocked and hits Gautam in frustration…. And atlast he shoots him…. Police arrive there and leave Laksh as they felt it was required to shoot him for their (raglak)safety…. Laksh takes Ragini’s dupatta and ties it around her wound and takes her in his arms and starts running…. Ragini was just getting unconcious…. He takes a car and places Ragini in the back seat and starts driving it….
Ragini : (stammers) La…laksh… I have to tell u smthg…. I…i dont kn..knw if its the right time or not…. But i think …. I…i dont have much time…. I LOVE YOU… La… Laksh….
Saying this she… Extends her hands and Laksh turns back and catches her hands and starts driving more fast….
Laksh : mera bachcha…. Tujhe kuch nahi hoga… I LOVE YOU TOO…. Plzz mujhe chod kar mat jao….
Just then her hand falls down….
Laksh finally reaches a hospital…. They take her in and she was fine… Laksh was relieved…. After she got discharged…. Laksh takes her to his house… Where SwaSan along with Sara were there…. Sanskar gets elated seeing his sister back…. He goes and hugs her….. SwaLak adore their bonding…. Sanskar thanks Laksh for bringing her back….
Sanskar : (fake anger) Laado… Chal mein tujhe baat nahi karunga..
Ragini : (pouts and holds her ears) sorry bhai….
Sanskar smiles and hugs her….
After few days….
Everything was happy now…. One day….
Ragini : bhai mein kisi se shaadi karna chahti hoon…
Sanskar : kisse??
Ragini : (shyly) laksh se…
SwaSan were shocked but happy….
Finally RagLak get married….
They were happy together…. Laksh always treats her like his own child… And protected her in every way he could….. One day…
Laksh : Ragini…. I want coffee….
Ragini : wait i will bring….
She goes to kitchen and starts making it… She starts feeling giddy…. But manages to make the coffee…. She goes to give that coffee… She gives to Laksh….
Laksh : thanks mera bachcha!!!
Ragini smiles and faints….
Laksh : Ragini… Utho…
Sanskar : laado…. Kya hogaya tujhe??? Mein doctor ko bulata hoon….
Sanskar calls the doctor. Family gets to knw that she is pregnant…. Everyone were elated….
In these months everyone tolerated her mood swings…. And fulfilled each and every need of hers…. And one day…. When she got her labor pains…SwaSanLak were worried as hell…. And then they heard the little joy of their house…. It was a girl…. It was the naming ceremony of the baby….
Pandit – naam kya rakhna chahte hai aap???
Ragini – Mein iska naam Sanskriti rakhna chahti hoon…. Aasha hai ki ye mere bhai jaise bane…
Everyone smiles seeing her love for Sanskar….
After 20 years..
Now Sara was 24 yrs old and Sanskriti was 20 years old….
Sara and Sanskriti’s bond was very strong…. One day Sara was in office and at home…. SwaSan and RagLak were there…. They all were happily speaking…. Just then Sanskriti comes….. Injured a bit…. Ragini was tensed and runs to her….
Ragini – Arre tujhe kya hogaya???
Sanskriti – Vo ma… A little puppy was abt to get hurt and i just saved it…nothing else…. Ragini takes her upstairs….
Meanwhile… Down
Laksh and Sanskar : (together) Bilkul apni maa par gayi hein ye….
And laughs…
Sanskar : ab usse samajh mein ayega… Hume kaisa lagta tha uss wakt…
