The makers of the popular mythological show, RadhaKrishn, are all set to entertain their audience once again with their upcoming show Haathi Ghoda Paal Ki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki. The story will be based on the life and leelas of young Lord Krishna and Yashoda.
Actress Aditi Sajwan who is known for her role in Jai Shri Krishna which was aired in 2009 has been roped in to essay the role of Yashoda.
Talking about it, in an interview with BT, she says, “I feel blessed to be playing the character of Yashoda again. An actor can get typecast in a certain role, but it’s rare for an artist to reprise a character in a new show. I think I am the chosen one (smiles).”
Talking about her show Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, which ended abruptly in 2020 Aditi shares, “It was obviously disappointing, as we invest a lot of energy and hard work in building a character. But then, you have to take it with a pinch of salt. We are going through challenging times owing to the pandemic and a lot of shows have and continue to go off air. It has become very difficult for shows to survive. But I am positive that the situation will improve. I am certain and hopeful that my new show will be loved by the audience because it’s a tried and tested story of devotion, a mother’s love, and mythology. Yashoda is one of the most beautiful and endearing characters. People have always loved the equation between Yashoda and Krishna and the latter’s leelayein as a child.”
