Adil Khan Durrani to be transferred to Mysore Court for FIR filed by an Iranian woman
Adil Khan Durrani who is married to Rakhi Sawant is in deep trouble. In his latest court hearing on February 20, he got judicial custody in the case filed by Rakhi Sawant. Mysore Police has also intervened to question him in regard to the FIR filed by an Iranian woman.
Rakhi was also present at the court along with her lawyers. Lawyer Ashok Saraogi talked about the hearing during his interaction with the media and shared, “In the past four days of police custody time that they got, they did get to investigate to a certain extent. The Court has felt that police custody is not required for further investigation. So they have given him judicial custody. But now, Mysore Police is also after him. They have a critical case of IPC 376. They have a transfer warrant and have a hearing at Mysore Court on February 24. There are many FIRs under his name. So today 99% chances are he might be transferred to Mysore court. This case is not over. The investigation is continuing.”
Rakhi’s lawyer Falguni Brahmabhatt confirmed in an interview with ETimes TV and said, “Today Judicial custody is granted to Adil in Rakhis case and court has granted custody to Mysore police in 376 case filed by Iranian girl.”
For the unversed, an Iranian woman had accused Adil of rape on the pretext of marriage while they were together in Mysore. She has also claimed that Adil was in a relationship with several other women.
