The episode starts with Manu asking yuvraj Madhav what does he need. He says he needs her. She says he knows she cannot get him in this life. He says he can force her, but he wants her to accept him by heart. She says she is devrakshika now. He takes sindhoor and is about to apply it on her forehead when she pushes him. He gets angry and says from today, their relationship is finished and she will lead a widow life. He wipes her bindi and breaks her bangles. She cries loudly.
Yuvraj and Maya/Rooplekha’s engagement ceremony starts. Panditji asks to bring bride and groom’s rings and keep them on shivji’s feet. Maya’s father/Raja says he left ring in his room. Anamika orders Manu to bring it.
Manu goes Raja’s room, picks ring, and reminisces her and Madhav’s marriage. She then sees ash in tea cup and thinks this is used in black magic. Choti rani shouts to bring ring fast. Manu runs down. Choti rani yells if she was trying ring.
Engagement pooja starts. Pandit sprinkles ganga jal on everyone. Anamika thinks if gangajal falls on raja and rani, their illusion will vanish and they will realize Maya is not their daughter. She stands between them when panditji sprinkles gangajal on them. Manu then shows aarti to everyone. Maya thinks same and blows off lamp by trick. Choti rani yells at Manu and snatches aarti thali. Thali falls down and gangajal falls on Raja and Rani. Their hypnotic barrier vanishes. Maya starts coughing and runs towards her room. Anamika says she must be allergic to smoke.
Manu follows Maya and forcefully opens her door. Maya asks what rubbish is this. Manu says smoke was not that high that she could cough and says sometimes human eyes can get blind but can see what happens.
Precap: Madhav shouts at Manu that she is jealous about his marriage with Maya and wants to break it.
