Actress Riya Soni talks about her role in the show ‘Agar Tum Na Hote’

Actress Riya Soni who rose to fame with her performance in shows like ‘Nazar’ and ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ is all set to essay a pivotal role in the show Agar Tum Na Hote. The actress will be seen in an avatar entirely different from her real self.

Riya recently talked about it in an interview with ETimes TV and shared, “I am playing the role of Shagun who is a very reserved girl. She is a doctor. I feel I am exactly the opposite of who I’m playing on screen. I am not at all shy, I am very talkative and I like being around people. Another irony is that I was very average in studies and here my character is extremely good at it and she’s also a doctor. So it’s interesting to play who I am not in real life. Apart from that, I have a love track on the show.”

Talking about her journey so far, she said, “After doing Nazar, I went back to Delhi to finish my graduation, and then we all were stuck in the pandemic. Last year I got the show Wagle Ki Duniya and now I am doing Agar Tum Na Hote. I’m grateful that I have got work back-to-back. There have been people who have been in the industry for long but they also have to wait for years to get a good role. In that case, I think I am lucky.”
