Actress Reem Shaikh is all set to feature in the upcoming daily soap ‘Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawaan’. The actress will be essaying the role of Paakhi in the show and is super excited to essay this part.
Reem talked about it in a recent interview with BT and shared, “Paakhi is a very positive girl. She’s a happy soul and I love that about her. This is one of the reasons why I think I relate to her. I’m a firm believer in the power of the universe and I feel that I am the universe’s favorite child. When I was told about this character, I felt a connection because Paakhi is much like me.”
She further adds, “There will be many twists and turns in Paakhi’s life. It’s the storyline of the show that makes it very interesting. I am glad that I will get to play different shades through this character. I get very excited to play such roles on screen because acting runs in my blood.”
Reem feels lucky to be working in these pandemic times. “I’m very fortunate and grateful enough to have been working in these difficult times. I know a few people around me who are suffering due to lack of opportunities and some have had to go back to their hometown as living in Mumbai wasn’t easy for them. I feel sad about that and I hope and pray that things get better soon,” she says.
She concludes by saying, “I feel that we all are putting in an equal amount of hard work. While I am getting my due for it, I wish even others get it because they have also worked hard in their lives to reach here. And no matter how much we get success in our lives, we should stay humble and be grateful, and thank God for everything.”
