The current track of ‘Udaariyaan’ has been keeping the audience hooked on the show. The show is currently focusing on Fateh and Tejo moving out of the Virk house while Tejo has started to get flashes of her past memories with Fateh.
During a recent interview with India Forums, actress Priyanka talked about her preparations for essyaing the mentally unstable Tejo. The actress said, “Well, generally, I’m an actress who doesn’t really like to prepare for my character a lot. I believe in performing on the spot, according to situations and the briefs given by the Director. However, for this character, I did a little homework. I watched a few films to take inspiration as I wanted to do justice to the character and the responsibility given to me. I watched projects like Sadma, Khilona, Ranjha Ranjha Kar Gai Mai along with a few Pakistani dramas to have an idea about such characters”.
Talking about the feedback she has been receiving for her performance, Priyanka added, “Everybody loved my performance, right from my crew to my fans. Everyone has been giving heartwarming responses which have left me satisfied and elated”.
She added, “It was definitely challenging as an actress to get into the skin of a mentally unstable Tejo. I wanted the body language to not be over the top and I worked hard to keep it as real as possible. I’m afraid if the same characteristic would affect me when Tejo gets mentally sound in the show (laughs)”.
When asked about her first reaction for the current track of the show, she replied, “I remember Bharti ma’am promising me an out-of-the-box character while we were shooting in London. I kept asking her for details but she denied telling me anything more. Just before a couple of days of the shoot, she informed me about the mentally unstable character and I was really thrilled as well nervous to do the same”.

Tbh it’s the writers who messed things up, nobody goes back to being a child after a burn accident. Once again, poor writing and lack of imagination leads to a dull track.
