Actress Parineeta Borthakur who was last seen in Gupta Brothers is super excited to be a part of Spy Bahu. Parineeta has been roped in to essay the role of Ayub Khan’s wife in the show.
In a recent interview, the actress talked about it and shared, “I auditioned for this role last year in October and forgot about it. Much later I got a call asking if I was still available to take up the role. I agreed to do the part; I don’t have a problem in playing a role of a mother as far as it has some importance in the storyline. I don’t like to just be in the background.”
Talking about Gupta Brother going off-air in January 2021 Parineeta said, “Sometimes it gets very difficult to keep waiting for the next show. Usually, I am very calm during this waiting period, but this time I was really frustrated. There are multiple reasons behind that. Financially too it takes a hit. So I was anyway looking for a good role with a good budget and this show fit the bill.”
The actress was seen supporting her Swaragini co-actor Tejasswi Prakash during her stint in Bigg Boss 15. Now that Tejasswi has won the show, Parineeta talked about it and shared, “I texted her to congratulate her but I guess she’s busy so she’s not seen it yet. But I’m very happy for her that she has won the show.”
