Actress Dolphin Dubey quits Meet; joins Dil Diyaan Gallaan
Dolphin Dubey who is known for her role in Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, has quit the show and has joined Dil Diyaan Gallaan, which stars Kaveri Priyam and Paras Arora in lead roles. The actress talked about it in a recent interview and shared that she was not pleased with her upcoming track in the show.
Dolphin said, “I have quit Meet, as it is going in for a time leap, and I am not too excited about the upcoming storyline. After learning about the upcoming story, I realized that my character would lose its sheen, and I wouldn’t have anything more to contribute than I already have. That prompted me to move on and explore new opportunities. There is no bad blood between the makers and me, as I quit the show on amicable terms. I would love to work with them again.”
Dolphin has now signed Dil Diyaan Gallaan. “It’s an interesting character and just what I was looking out for. I will be entering the show along with Jayati Bhatia and will play her daughter, Prabhjot. My entry will lead to a major twist in the storyline and the track will revolve around me. She suffered heartbreak after Maan (Sandeep Baswana) dumped her to marry Aastha (Reema Vora). My character is stuck in the past and doesn’t realize all that happened after Maan’s marriage,” she shared.
Along with Dil Diyaan Gallaan, the actress, who has been part of shows like Udann, Devanshi, and Sasural Simar Ka 2 is also shooting for Baghin simultaneously. “It’s quite hectic. I shoot for the shows on alternate days. However, I am not complaining. I am in fact enjoying this phase of being busy,” she concludes.
