Actress Alefia Kapadia gets injured on the sets of Bade Ache Lagte hain

Our TV stars have impeccable respect for their work. They work round the clock and don’t tire easily. Alefia Kapadia, who is currently shooting for Bade Ache Lagte hain too faced an incident where her patience and tolerance was tested. The actor was shooting for a dance sequence when the light stand fell on her foot. She had a shooting pain. Her onscreen husband Abhinav Kapoor called for ice immediately but it took quite a few minutes for the pain to even settle down.

Talking about the incident Alefia said in an interview to Etimes, “This happened during a dance sequence on the sets of BALH2. There is a huge clot underneath the toenail and the skin around it has turned black and the toe is swollen. I’m unable to walk, I’ve been limping around. The pain is excruciating and the doctor has asked to ice it and apply an ointment and also given painkillers. The moment the light fell on my foot only Abhinav Kapoor ( he plays my husband in the show) was right in front of me. The rest were busy rehearsing. I just sat down right there holding my foot. Abu did call for ice and I started icing it. Aanchal Khurana (who plays Brinda) also helped me by massaging the foot, but the pain was so bad I just had to go to my room to deal with it.”

She added that, “The tricky part was getting the gel polish off my toe before going to show the injury to the doctor. It was painful as hell when the paint was being scraped off. I was literally screaming in the salon.

Later I was able to get some rest at home since it was unit off due to Xmas. I shall be back on set as soon as the pain and swelling has reduced. We’ve got a major sangeet and shaadi sequence of Ram and Priya of which Sara is an integral part. So yes , by the grace of my willpower and healing power I’ll be continuing. ”
