Actress Aditi Sharma talks about her new show Rabb Se Hai Dua
Actress Aditi Sharma is super excited about her new show, Rabb Se Hai Dua. The actress will be essyaing the titular role of Dua in the show. Interestingly Aditi had almost taken up another show.
The actress talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “I was planning to do another show and then I received a call from Rabb Se Hai Dua makers. The promo shoot was scheduled for the next day, and I was like, why not! I didn’t have much time for anything. Our director Ranjit sir explained the scenes so well. Writer-turned-producer Prateek Sharma explained this character and storyline to me in such a way that I fell in love with the show instantly. I liked it a lot because of the topic it addresses.”
Talking about the show, she added, “Every time something happens, I say ‘Haye Rabba’. I am a Punjabi and I relate to the word Rab a lot! Dua is a very sweet name. It’s a very pleasing and beautiful title.”
Talking about her character in the show, she said, “My character is a sweet, innocent, and naive woman. Dua loves her husband, Haider (Karanvir Sharma), and his family to bits. She is believed to be Haider’s lucky charm. I can relate to her being positive and being there for the family. I am a talkative person but my character isn’t so. On the other hand, if someone is wrong, I just tell them to their face, Dua is gentler. This is the thing I love about acting, getting to play different characters and I am really enjoying it.”
When asked about her prep for the show, she said, “The show is set in Delhi, and being from Delhi, the dialect and lehja come naturally to me. However, I need to improve my Urdu and work hard on my dialogue. It is a beautiful language.”
