Actors Yash Tonk and Narayani Shastri to essay the role of king and queen in the upcoming show Dhruv Tara
Shashi and Sumeet Mittal’s upcoming show Dhruv Tara seems to be a star-studded show with actors Riya Sharma and Ishaan Dhawan essaying the lead roles. The makers of the show have now roped in Narayani Shastri and Yash Tonk to essay pivotal roles in the story.
According to the reports, Narayani and Yash will essay the role of queen and king in the show. The actors have already given their look tests and the shoot is expected to commence from the 17th of this month.
Earlier in an interview, Yash talked about his last fiction outing Swaran Ghar which was also his shortest stint ever on TV. He said, “That’s how television works. It’s quite sad. I didn’t know it might go off-air. Around a week after I started shooting for the show, we were told that it was shutting down. It’s disappointing for any actor because so many people bank on a show. I have been a part of the industry to understand that it is not unusual. Also, as an actor, I can’t do anything about it. It happens to great shows also. One has to be prepared for everything. All I can do is give my best till the last day of the shoot. I made the character (Baljit Singh Bedi aka Balli) spicy and it’s good to experiment.”
