Actors Rajshree Thakur and Cezanne Khan react to Appnapan going off-air in just 5 months
TV show Appnapan – Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan is all set to go off-air in the second week of November. The show which went on-air in June 2022 is now wrapping up in 5 months. The show featured Rajshree Thakur and Cezanne Khan in the lead roles.
Lead actress Rajshree talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “We will complete the shoot for the show in a few days. I am surprised, in fact shocked by the decision. It was a good concept and the story was also changed a bit to make it more interesting. I liked the role very much because mature women and their struggle stories connect with viewers. We have no clue why the show is wrapping up. I am in no position to comment, but it is likely that when the show was moved from 10.30 pm slot to an early evening slot – 6.30 pm, it may have lost its audience. But again, a time slot change and decisions like these are best taken by the channel. I was very happy with my role and it was quite challenging to play Pallavi because it was all about her struggles and life around five kids.”
Cezanne Khan also added to the conversation and said, “I had a very good role in the show and I am feeling sad that the journey is over but it is a part and parcel of the business. TV shows do wrap up in a few months. It is a bit disappointing that such a good story could not connect with viewers. I will miss shooting for the show. .”
