Actor Sai Ketan Rao on Chashni going off-air; says, “I don’t see any reason to feel sad”

The TV show Chashni which was launched in March is now all set to wrap up in two months. The show is likely to go off-air by the end of May. The channel is in no mood to give the show an extension owing to the lukewarm response it is garnering from the viewers.

Sai Ketan Rao, who essays the lead actor in the show talked about it in a recent interview and said, “All these things are beyond an actor’s control. I have heard talks about the show wrapping up by the end of May but I have not received any official confirmation on this. I feel that it is all about the creatives and what the audience likes to watch. I am happy that I have got to do something different from my previous show Mehndi Hai Rachnewali. If the show wraps up, I don’t see any reason to feel sad, one has to move on in life. I have given it my best.”
