Actor Rishi Grover talks about his role as Month in Parineeti; says, “Being a Punjabi, my on-screen character feels real to me”

Actor Rishi Grover who is currently essaying the role of Monty, in the show Parineeti is super excited as the show recently completed 100 episodes.

The actor talked about it during a recent interview with BT and shared, “I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to essay the role of Rishi in the show. I can relate to my character as we both are filled up with positivity and enjoy adding the fun factor in the environment and making people around us feel happy. Our show has started garnering good TRPs and I feel we as a team are trying our best to impress our audience. Working in Ekta (Kapoor) maam’s show was a dream and I’m living it. 100 successful episodes has been an encouraging and meaningful experience.”

Rishi who made his acting debut with ‘Ishq Unplugged’ further shared that he enjoys shooting for the show. He added, “We are representing a Punjabi family. And I’m a Punjabi in real life. I enjoy the culture and tradition of our religion. So it’s fun that at work I get the feel of a familiar environment. I can connect with the setting very much while we shooting. So, it looks easy and doesn’t make you feel tired at work. I wish my character flourishes more in the show so that I can keep my fans entertained.”

Being a Punjabi, Rishi has a wish to act in Punjabi music videos! “I have grown up listening to Punjabi songs. I’m keen to act in Punjabi music videos. As an artist, I want to explore acting as much as possible. I don’t feel that I should limit myself.”
